hello could u please answer me? between bartz and chizuru which one is better? ive been playing for a week and i use in my team Cecil, chizuru, dark fina (*-*), vanille and garnet, is this team ok? or should i change any of this units and which unit should i replace? im a free player so i dont want to spend time and resource in wrong units, so i really apreciate ur help

Which one fares better in event dungeons? DF has unique element coverage. Is she worth chasing for the Stonga, Waterga and Aeroga? How are 5* pulls these days in Japan?

How would Seabreeze Dark Fina stack up against Ex-Death and the other strong mages like Victoria or Zyrus? I have her at 5* and Ex is at 4* max waiting for a few materials, and I have a 5* Terra but truly hate her having to unlock her top tier skills, annoying when most top tier mages can just blast away two spells easily. Kuja is insanely badass looking an was debating on him or Seabreeze or Ex-death can someone more skilled with mages throw me some pointers please?

The only way to avoid her distress is by having Ashe equipped with Ribbon. Anyone guys, just like Ushi-kun said , don't push your luck ( especially if you are f2p ). One day i pulled a girl with a swimsuit on it . I was so exicted because i thought i pulled seabreeze Dark Fina Its a daily pull. And it turned out TO BE BEACH TIME FINA ALL OF THE TIME ( luckily on the same day , i pulled Exdeath for the first time .:p) Thanks for the review !!! Because of this , I feel grateful i pulled exdeath in the end :D

Hey ushi i just started playing this game and put a few summons into it, i got a 3 star Exdeath on my first pull is he any good? im not sure how to even tell if a unit has potential in this game.

Young Giraffe Yes he is a very good magic damage dealer, and his special atk lets him inflict ailments on all targets which makes hi good for arenacolliseum. If you wanna know who the best units are, just google "ffbe unit rankings" to see the general conception of units. BTW most 6 stars are the best (exdeath is 6 star). :)

he is a top tier magician in FFBE. But if you just started the game, i highly recommend to start with a 5stars based unit. :)

Exdeath is arguably one of the best units that's within easy reach of f2p. He hits the 3 big elemental weaknesses (fire, ice, lightning), has a dualcast black ability, meteor, a limit break that can hit with random status ailments, and is a little tankier than most mages. He doesn't have as much raw power as some mages, but he easily makes up for it in versatility. Dark Fina pound for pound is more powerful than Exdeath (especially with her enhancements when we finally get those). As Ushi says if you are starting and willing to reroll than Dark Fina is what to shoot for if you're looking for a powerful mage.

Something to consider for questing. Exdeath can use letters and arms TM in all four slots easily getting him over 800+ mag

I wanna try this game but i wanna start right. So i know about the reroll method from other games. Did some rerolling and finally got Dark Fina. Is she a good enough starting hero? Or should I roll for someone better? Maybe wait for the next banner (if it's not too long)? Can't really tell by myself because I don't know anything about the game yet. :p

majinvegy re-rolled Dark Fina too with Exdeath, Bartz, and Vaan. I'd say those are keepers. Check the tier list on FFBE wiki

It had taken me 3 days of re rolling but I'm managed to get Noctis Lightning and Dark Fina from 20 free summons and later on with featured summon I pulled a Cecil. It just gets better and better. Luck was unreal.

What about the limit burst

I have ExDeath with 530 MAG and I was thinking about the 11 pull (currently I have like 4500 lapis) but... Maybe I should wait and do the pull with Orlandeau's banner. I'm a f2p player and I raised that much lapis doing quests and arena (and a Trophy). What do you think??

i actually heavily recommend orlandeau over dark fina, but i think you can try few on Fina if you're curious. Don't spend all to fina's gate.

Jessyca Edrielle my exdeath is 528, I think you should save for orlandeaus banner as well. Dark fina is great, but savings worth it

Jessyca Edrielle it's going to be a while. And the other dudes right, you should just save for the big important pulls like onion knight. Who is just so so nice

course ppl are starting to use full ribbon/godess blessing team in arena, so for the most part status ailment strats will not work most of the time.

only few of them using those TM. I still can get through status ailments most of the times even in JP (TMs are more common there).

santa roselia is an OK healer, but far from the best because she can't revive. Medius & Cerius not that good either. If you just started the game, better reroll until you get a 5stars based unit. It's okay to start with 5stars attackers such as Lightning/Luneth/Noctis but I highly recommend to start with 5stars based Ramza (Ramza with Hero's Rime +2 is the best buffer that will be useful for many future difficult trials). :)

Why not give him Letters & Arms instead? Makes his Meteor hit harder and still keep its cheaper costs compared to Ultima. Not to mention L&A can be transferred to Trance Terra when she is out :)

"Almost everyone has Exdeath" not for me though, still pulling and ended up with kefka.

Is Emperor better than Exdeath? Thinking about who to get to 6 star

Emperor? Do you mean 皇帝? He is 5stars based unit, and obviously any player who got him will raise him into 6stars without thinking too much since he is very difficult to get. xD He is more to the support role even if he can do decent damage with magics because of the "fill selected unit MP+100%, reduce HP-50%" skill. His best magic is Flare (230% magic single target atk, water resistance-30%) which is weaker than meteor/ultima. If you have ultima (Terra's TM) or alterna (Noctis' TM) ability, you can equip it to Emperor to make him a decent magic DPS too. :)

She definetly can outlast Ex MP wise, at the last attacks he was outta gas an she still had over 200 mp and they were throwing them big boy skills too. So it seems like Ex is built like a knight to with stand physical punishment unlike most magical units, so he is unique in that aspect, then he has passive killers so more damage. But that low mp would wipe him useless unless you have some MP batteries to compensate. Its a tough choice with magical attackers but out if every single one of them Ex-Death seems to be unique. Think I'm gonna go with him, his def an ability to use heavy armor is a lifesaver for him against the mostly physical units/players you will fight.

there is a dummy you can test your damage in japan, north tower in king mog area

oh yeah hope they change it in the future. its really useful to practice on chaining your attacks and tells you how much damage and how many chains you did.

yeah but Exdeath will get enchancement on Meteor which wil does 3 hit damage on one cast O~O

Speaking about the enhancements, Exdeath's Meteor+2 will be able to do 3 hits 300% magic damage ignore spr-25% (50 MP), while Dark Fina's ultima+2 is 7 hits 280% magic damage ignore spr-50% (45 MP). In term of pure skill damage (without exdeath's boost atk to specific races, Dark Fina's ultima damage is definitely better). Personally i don't think i want to make Exdeath's Meteor into +2 because of the enhancement stones are very very rare even in JP (not yet available in global). I'd rather to save them for more other useful skill. But well, everything back to "can you get dark fina?" "do you have the best gears/TMs to raise their damage into the max potential?". :)

I hate the summon method in Global. Rolled a Rainbow for once and got 5* Miyuki :/

lol 100% charlotte... xD I actually have a friend that got 2 of Charlotte's TM by fusing total of more than 42 Charlottes, lol.

That's right. a 33 times Summon is from a 20% into a 100%, It took nearly half my summons into it while only get 2 good ones that I didn't had before were Chizuru and Refia

i got 4 consecutives Charlottes from my daily pulls, i stopped there, got a little dissapointed i think i will wait for a different banner (Charlotte is noy even included in the current banner i know but 4 times in a row?? f that, til next banner!)

Ushi Gaming Channel agreed. Since I was using Lenna for a long time. Having a Refia truly changed my main healer. Although I'm still choosing either Santa Roselia or Refia better.

dual wield on mage only boost their MAG, not gonna make they attack twice in a turn using magic. Their physical atk does attack twice with dual wield, but not magic. :)

yep i understand that, but there's no point comparing the damage of 2 units if you don't maximize their stats.

So, I just signed in today and saw that there was going to be an Ariana Grande collab for her. Considering uninstalling now. :)

She is better..but base in magic dmage...she's not so outclassed exdeath...exdeath has transcender

Sitting there looking at your units an wondering wtf they shit all over some units, like Sabin stuck at 4*! Wtf that man could beat his entire game solo, his brother got shitted on too, Gau stuck, Shadow got done dirty like people who ditched his ass on the floatin island. Why dont they update these guys!?! Give us a 6* Master Sword wielding General Leo! He was easily the Orlandu of his game an whats he got here a damn Aegis Shield and stuck at 5*... poor General Leo!

This is really some false advertising to f2p players. Fact is, Majin Fina is better. Can reach way higher amounts of MAG than Exdeath so even with Exdeath's killer abilities Majin Fina does better damage in quest as well.
