Aside from the problems the game has, it seems that there were some problems with the Devs. And also the lack of communication. It's sad tho, this is my first experience a gacha that I'm playing is getting EoS.

I like Tactics games, but I bounced off this one after the first week because the gear grind felt excessive for the early game. I didn't click with the Aura system either.

My time as a player is limited......Which is why Star Rail is fine.....as that respect my time.

Sadly that is the reality. No KPI reach = no profit = inevitable EoS. The other very F2P-friendly game i played and ended up EoS is Dragalia Lost, but some say it could be 'Nintendo reasons'.

Personally I don't think "being too f2p friendly" really is a problem/cause for EoS, since we have games like Azur Lane that is like the pinnacle of f2p friendly. The real problem is making the monetization more appealing, using AL again as the example their main way of getting people to whale in the game is through skins thus balancing out the "too f2p friendly" status of their gacha rate and gacha pull acquisition.

@@adol567 gfl is an entirely different topic since they really don't care how low their income and player count may be, also why I didn't use Limbus Company as an example since Project Moon is also one of those devs that wouldn't just pull the plug on their game regardless of how their income and player count is.

@@Xedllin i think the devs still care about the income, because the game's story is still good. Iirc the reason the developers not too greedy it's because 70%-90% of stocks is owned by developers.

@@adol567 they care about the income but not to the point that they'll pull the plug because there is not enough of it is what I'm saying. There's a handful of gacha devs who have this kind of reputation now and it honestly makes my choice on which new gacha games to try more manageable.

Arknights it quite fair and its getting only bigger, same for Blue Archive JP. Hell even Limbus company which is the most f2p friendly game is in great state

same like the previous work, played like 2 month, loved the game, get the dark assasin girl which her rate is like a myth, spend around 50 usd because my account is so lucky from getting her that i want to invest, yet in just 2 week i believe end of service announcment hahahah, so not surprised and didnt event try this one, because i want to wait like a year to see if history will repeat itself or not, and tadaaaaa EOS

all you've said are likely just minor reasons. The game is already dead just before the "official launch". The soft launch is the major reason it died, also the IP banning in rerolls just added fuel to the fire.

Too f2p friendly kill the game, too p2p still kill the game just like others game. Remind me of Rune Story (EN vers of Shironeko Project) it got kill really quick too because of it is actually totally f2p, beyond "too f2p friendly" lol. Basically every month, if you join guild event, you can get enough for 200 pulls while a single new characters doesn't have a "guarantee" but it doesn't matter at all. Neural Cloud also the same IMO, still too f2p friendly and their venue ain't that good, honestly i don't think it can survive long...
