Yuki-Onna is a yokai, or spirit, in Japanese folklore. She is usually described as a beautiful woman with long black hair and wearing a white kimono. She can appear in any form, from a young woman to an old crone. Her most notable features are her icy breath, which she uses to freeze her victims, and her fierce temper, which can lead her to instantly kill anyone who disturbs her. She is often seen wandering in blizzards and snowstorms, and is believed to be the spirit of someone who has died in the cold.
This episode of Rest for the Wicked features dark ambient music with an ethnic touch and chilling winter sounds.

I haven't heard of this legend before! I love how diverse the folklore you use is, I like to learn new mythology and the ambience is perfect! Some of my favorite myths are the Wild Hunt in Wistman's Wood, Morrigan the Irish war/fate goddess, the ferryman Charon in the Greek Underworld, and Mictlantecuhtli the Aztec god of death, if you want more inspiration!

could you post a 10h version of it? I really like it. I must say that Yuki Onna is my favourite female yokai (I'd even like to marry one ^^). So it would be nice to be able to have a 10h version of your yuki onna ambient...to sleep and relax with it.

Nah. She will most likely freeze you in your sleep. But if you are so unlucky as to see her you must promise that you will never speak of the encounter lest you be killed.
