Sometimes we do DIYs, sometimes we step on necks! 🤷🏿♀️
i want to let americans know that nearly everyone else in the world still use and are being taught cursive manuscript, I have literally no idea why y'all aren't, its super sad and theres no reason why things are this way

I love that people around the world are still learning cursive! Wish our youngest generations in the U.S. we’re still taught this in school because it’s such a beautiful manuscript!

I can tell you that's not true. I wasn't taught nor I know anyone that has, and I'm European. I'm glad you were, though!

@@nekoneblue if your parents or grandparents weren't taught then it's not a "kids aren't being taught anymore" issue, it's just that where you live people were never taught perhaps? I've seen Italians say they're taught so not all of Europe at least
@nekoneblue

@@mariamatedei Oh yeah I've never say all of Europe isn't taught cursive, I was just saying is just not an American thing, like you said in your first comment. I'm sure in Italy and other countries are taught, and how I envy them!
Just thinking out loud. You can age your book pages in tea or coffee first. You can also burn the edges of the paper to age them (in a fire safe location). The book purse is brilliant. I've seen canteen gourd purses made in similar ways. At our library used book store you can get a whole bag of books for $1, so that's when I stock up on old hard cover books to use in crafts. You can also write a 'secret' letter with lemon juice, then heat it up carefully over a flame so the lemon juice becomes visible in a spooky way. I love videos about aesthetics. Thank you very much.
Ok, a lot of things to say. 1. You know how many times I've searched "Dark Academia decor" and watched every single video but not yours? Why? I don't know. Your ideas are so original, literally didn't see anybody doing it. Absolutely loved it. 2. At the beginning of the video I wasn't looking at the screen because I was doing some stuff but when I tried to pay attention to what you were saying I couldn't understand if you were speaking in french or english (I'm not a native speaker of any ofthose languages) and you said "Uuf, toy sudando" and I was like "WHERE THE HELL IS THIS PERSON FROM?" so, that's the second. 3. And lastly (I think) I cannot let your look go unnoticed, I loved your hair, I loved your outfit, and how the persona you present in front of the camera charms me with every word. So, loved the video, I wasn't subscribe but I am now, and I hope to see a lot more about Dark Academa, loves♥

I like the loveletter. I would like to see that back of that as mercury glass...
from the first two seconds i already knew this video was gonna be fire🌻🤍
I love the mug with decoupage turned planter. I am absolutely trying that. Thank you!
Your videos hit me right in the Aesthetic and I am here for it!
In the case of the cursive writing you may also print out a letter to trace though the glass.
ok but like the humor, accessibility, creativity and an on point outfit?? AND a concise and fair critique of the aesthetic??? i am liking and subscribing and commenting
New fan here! Love how calming this video is. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
I love these ideas and how accessible they are ♥ it might be fun to turn the mug into a candle
LOVE this video and your personality 🤎🤎

wow this video is has some actually really interesting ideas I'll definitely be trying with my own spin on them! also, I'm sure if you were to cover the entire mug in a mod podge spray specifically for mugs (you can use matte or gloss) and letting it cure, i'm sure it'd be fine to drink out of! just be very careful and give it a good couple of days to cure, just to be safe! (edit: also just wanna add I absolutely love the little cards you edit in to display the items needed, the quantity and price of them. that's very genius and very helpful!)
All of this DIY's are so creative!!!
Awesome as usual! It would be awesome if you did a Practical Magic Movie inspired crafts or home decor.
Very creative and great video! Love love love
*me watching this at 4:am * sweets nervously*
The book bag is amazing! I used my old torn up Harry Potter book that had definitely was at the end of its days. It’s so cute, I’ve been changing my aesthetic up, and this helped me do it affordably :)

Crying at the "Andy Warhol was still alive" comment - I was TEN when he passed. 😂 (And yes, since I'm old I learned cursive in school and even handed in most of my high school papers in cursive because computers weren't widely available. I'd write them on a typewriter (and in later years word processor) if I was feeling fancy.) I'm gonna go lie in my grave as the ancient I am now, LOL.
Você é muito necessária! Continue o bom trabalho.
12:18 I HAD A LAUGH
I love your outfit
Very pretty 😀
Omg you are adorable 🤩
It quite stupefied me to know that you are one of the last who learnt cursive writing in school, I always thought that everyone learn cursive writing in school. that's how it works in France, you must learn cursive writing (you actually only learn cursive writing at school) and while growing up, your writing starts to change. Cursive writing for me do not mean italic writing (I don't know if it's possible to say italic writing lmao), most of my classmates in high school have cursive writing without it being italic haha (Sorry for my syntactic mistakes if there's any ;) )
Also learned cursive in school (5th grade) only use it for checks and legal documents but can we acknowledge how f-ing difficult it is two write your name on computer card readers at check outs and the bank? I feel technology has advanced enough that we can and should fix this please
You are not sweating, my dear. Horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow.
I love dark acedima, but my hand writing doesn't agree 😩
I love this so much!! I especially appreciate that you acknowledge the problematic nature of these aesthetics (tho it's important to note that fuck jk rowling, said as a trans gal) but like yeh i love diy, and old fashioned aesthetics, and i'm really looking forward to watching the rest of ur videos

Thank you so much! 💜 It’s super important to me that the content of this channel includes everyone and acknowledges when the inspiration for DIYs doesn’t. It was so disappointing to learn how a person with such a vivid imagination cannot imagine a world where trans people exist. What JK has said about trans people is never ok!
I am a sixty seven year old female an American and yes I still write in my own cursive hand writing . I think it’s mostly probably younger Americans that do not An I find this very sad . I’ve met a lot of young people who do not even know how to write a check that’s even sadder I think .
wait, what? Don´t they teach cursive writing in amarican schools? I can only speak for germany, but children here still learn "Schreibschrift". Or is cursive writing something like an old style of writing (like old german or Schütterlin?) For example: (z) new (𝖟) old
@OzeanischesGefuehl

I’m from Germany so from what I can tell, in our schools they teach it a little bit differently but yes it’s basically the same but if you look at pictures you can see the differences. I didn’t know other countries didn’t have to learn it lmao

I don't speak for the whole country, but in my state, we only learned cursive once as an extra credit project. It's considered useless to the school system since we do most of our work on computers, so all of my knowledge of cursive has come from my grandmother. It's quite sad to see something so beautiful fade away. (Like I said, I only speak for one of the 50 US states, but that is my personal experience)
