I love how after the training scene it cuts to him standing on a roof top, sorting out the noise of the city until he hears the cries of a child in the distance, echoing "Help me!".... Credits. Perfect ending to the first episode.

Everyone always says that the hallway fight at the end of Episode 2 convinced them to see Daredevil all the way through, and while I'm not knocking that scene in any way, getting hooked requires only that you pay attention to Episode 1. It's so good all throughout.

I can just rewatch this MASTERPIECE of art anytime, any place. I cannot put into words how much they knocked it outta the part with DD. It's one of the best things ever made and will forever be my favorite media content ever, period (note I didn't say TV show, because DD whoops many forms of media content out there). My heart was ripped out when they announced the cancellation of Daredevil..... This is one of those shows that DESERVES to end on its' own accord. Fuck the rest of the CB related/general movies/tv shows, Daredevil is unparalleled. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COMEBACK CC/DD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Better than pretty much 99.99% comic-book/general movies and tv shows. It is a show that is so beautifully crafted with so much intelligence, heart, love, and passion that it transcends beyond being a CB genre show, it transcends into an entirely different league altogether!!!

This to me is why daredevil will always work better for me then batman just because he has a real reason to not kill people and it makes so much damn sense also how he's dad was kind of a looser but also a great boxer, and how Matt is a blind dude who just wants to help people and make he's city a better place while batman has gadgets and a bunch of money and wealth were as daredevil has his fists
