This season was so good and so highly underrated. Before this came out there was nothing like it. I'm not a person that thinks every comic hero should be dark and gritty. But this is how Daredevil is meant to be told. And they did it so very well.

Arrow was fairly similar to this in its early seasons - a dark, gritty vigilante brutally taking down criminals (although Oliver was ok with killing). And Person of Interest was also similar, except it didn't have costumed heroes or superpowers.

@@patricklee5239 I don't know if you just wanted to debate for the purpose of debating, but since we are here, I concur Arrow was an interesting take (while not accurate to the character at all they basically made Oliver Batman) but there is no comparison to what they did with Daredevil. The show was unapologetically visceral in it's nature and we had never really seen anything like this in a live action Marvel or DC property. And your second contestation by your own admission wasn't even relevant to this conversation so I'm not even sure why you brought it up lol. Either way, much love, have an awesome day.

Other than being dark and gritty, the political part from karen, foggy and others including matt was all so good

I love how every new season his fighting stamina increases and he can fight longer. When he was only able to fight one highly trained assassin to few untrained thugs at a time to fighting multiple assassins to 20-30 thugs

The way the two blind guys fight each other is incredible. It's subtle, but it has the essence of two blind men fighting but to that James Bond level of skill. Seriously impressed with that level of detail and execution. Never watched this series before but the few clips I've seen are super interesting!

The fight scene between DD and Nobu really got to me it was so brutal. Then you add the beating Fisk gave him and I honestly didn't think, or could figure out how he would get out of there alive. So well done.

The Blind Fighter turned Superhero. Daredevil doesn't need eyes to see when he has hearing to sense his opponents. I love this series.

The fight choreography in this series is hella satisfying!

Because season one is reminiscent of old action films and the fights are kinda realistic as daredevil either gets hurt or tired when fighting. Not only that but he gets better as a fighter as the series progresses

Daredevil dominated nearly everyone he went up against this Season

Fun fact: the stunt/ fight coordinator for this, is a huge fan of The Raid and trained with Indonesian Silat masters before shooting the show. You can actually see Daredevil using Silat techniques.
