Vermeil should've stayed with the Rams. The Greatest Show on Turf would've lasted longer than 3 seasons if he was coach, and the Rams probably would've beaten New England in the Super Bowl. Martz was too stubborn to be a head coach. When the league caught up to his QB killing, 7-step dropback system, he refused to adjust. Also Vermeil probably would've done his best to see what the heck was going on with Warner unlike Martz who simply ditched him to the side for Bulger.

For the first quarter of the 2003, he was my NFL MVP. Hall was amazing for those first 4 games and I thought he had more impact by helping his team win than any other player. However, there was no way a kick returner could have kept up that pace and no way he was going to end up as one of the MVP finalists; but nonetheless, Dante Hall in 2002-2003 was tremendous.

The only reason he didn't keep that pace is because teams stopped kicking to him. The Chiefs were starting every drive at the 40 because their opponents would rather kick it out of bounds than kick it to Hall. Punters would kick it sideways out of bounds instead of downfield to Hall.

There was a 5 season stretch in Kansas City where he made 2 all pro teams, returned 5 punts for touchdowns, 7 kicks for touchdowns, had 4 seasons of 2,000+ all purpose yards. In 2003/2004 he had 7 total return touchdowns…. 7 in 10 games .. Devin Hester was so dominant but there was only 1 Dante Hall

Lmao I used to do exactly what Dante said in madden, he became the #1player on the team and I never understood why the Chiefs didn't use Dante as a receiver more haha. Mad love for Dante I still got a authentic jersey man.
