My old hiking shoes wore out after a few years and I had to shop for a new pair. My requirements were waterproof, comfortable (nothing tall like a book) and a great tread pattern. These Danner Trail 2650 hiking shoes ticked all of my boxes! After hiking over 100 miles with these shoes, I've thoroughly enjoyed them! They are very lightweight and don't rub blisters on my feet. The piece inside the sole making walking on rocks and challenging terrain simple! I'd definitely buy these Danner Trail 2650 shoes again! Hopefully they'll last me for a few thousand miles of hiking! #Danner

I just tested the Trail 2650 Campo version of this shoe and they performed well against four other low hikers. I ultimately chose a different shoe though for my trip to Italy.

Which shoe did you choose for hiking in Italy? Ferragamo?
Hey man, thanks for the video. I wanted a pair ever since I got to try them on a few days ago. I'm a competition shooter and I'm always looking for lightweight, grippy shoes and these look like they fit the bill. No more range trips in my Adidas haha

I’ve backpacked over 50 miles so far with them and the traction and weight of the shoes is both great! I had never heard of this brand but am glad that I bought them! #Danner

How did they hold up? Are they breathable?

I’ve hiked probably 200 miles or so in them so far and they are holding up well. The sole still has great tread and has not started to separate from the shoe. They are lined with Gore Tex so they breathe well in my opinion. I would buy them again without hesitation.
