I am beginning to think that you guys "watch" the show but you don't "listen." If the roles were reversed and Danielle and Robert were rock solid and Lindsey and Carl were not because, among other things, Lindsay never sees him, Lindsay would be like a crazy woman on steroids losing her mind all over the place and all over everyone. And, Danielle would be there for her. She wouldn't blow her off because she was in a relationship that was going well. She wouldn't stop picking up the phone on occasion to say "Hey, how are ya?" And, she wouldn't stop seeing her because she "moved to Brooklyn." I bet Lindsey did those things to Danielle because she was too insecure to leave Carl alone for even a second. He might run. I imagine she is absolutely suffocating. And, for now this works for Carl. It's probably even endearing. But is it sustainable? Time will tell. Lindsay would have married anyone who asked her at the drop of a hat. One week relationship and you wanna marry me? Sure! While Carl feels like he's giving off vibes that given all he's been through, he wants off the merry-go-round and is settling for her because she is a "known" quantity. I don't see the great love story the rest of you see. But if they can be happy that's all that really matters in the end.

I’m just speaking to her hearing anything about an engagement or ring and literally having a melt down. Which is why I can see why Carl didn’t say anything. Danielle seems against it. That’s also why I tried to start out by saying putting their relationship issues aside.

Agree… I was a little disappointed in Danielle because I’m Puerto Rican (you would get it if you were Puerto Rican ) we can be over-the-top and emotional but you have to mind your manners. It was not the time to air grievances at that engagement party. I think this could kick her off the show and I’m very sad for her and sad for Chris who also didn’t properly represent at times.

@@bosse1092 I get that. I think we are just looking at this differently. I think the engagement issue really isn't even a Lindsay issue (she did not know). It's a Carl issue. He made all nice and then made a purposeful intent to include Kyle but to cut out Danielle when it actually could have been the perfect time for all of them to finally put the nonsense aside. So, I feel for her. I imagine too that she must have felt embarrassed in front of the family knowing after all this time that's she's been cut out.

I get Danielle’s hurt. The three of them used to be bffs and then things changed and she feels left out. It’s hard when dynamics change and your friends only wanna spend time with each other. But still it’s not about her and I hope she got over it

The problems with Carl and Lindsey have already started to surface in front of the cameras on the show. The same signs are there of the "How many sandwiches have you made for ME!" And, the same whacky stuff she did to Everette. That 4/24 episode where she screamed at him nonstop because he had a talk with Danielle was reminiscent of what has happened with every other guy we have ever seen her involved with on this show. Every guy in Lindsay's life has run and this is why. Let's hope Carl can find a way to deal with this. Once they are actually married, that same Lindsey will be back in full force. She will be unable to keep her in the closet.

All couples fight, Lindsey is particularly difficult to talk to if she drunk, this does not make her irredeemable... Look at Kyle and Amanda, she still married him even with alllllllllllll the ups and downs, she knew who she was marrying... That aside, and accepting that Danielle feels neglected, which is valid... What's not valid are her reactions, it's beyond immature, and if they gotta accept her reactions and her smear campaign, she gotta accept that they not gonna include her... She literally gets her BS validated by people who have hated on Lindsey for yearsssssss, ofc she thinks what she is doing is ok... Mya and Cierra, and especially Paige are the reason Danielle is deluded into thinking her reactions are ok, and that what they did was wrong... No logical thinking person would put Carl in the wrong for not including a friend who has been vocally against your partnership. I feel like Danielle's outburst is simultaneously 1) the grief of knowing that her friendship with both of them is essentially over and they are moving on without her and 2) reckoning with the fact that she put herself in al ot of bad situations/arguments/fights/etc to defend both of them when they wouldn't life a finger to be there for her in the same way. I think both past and future realities are crashing down on her and it's being released in this tantrum.

My best friend's now husband didn't include me either, and I was excited AF for her when I she called me, because I know she wanted to be married and have family. I was happy that she was finally able to get what she always wanted. She got married last month, and I was Maid of Honor, and it was a perfect wedding, and I was beyond honoured to be there and give my speech. At the end of it all, he was so thankful to me, for being there for her, and doing my part as MOH. I left there knowing my support, love and respect was felt by them both. And that is what matters, not how a person decides they want to do the engagement, but rather being happy and supportive for your friend.

Why she would do this I do not fully understand since it is very clear that this has always been a one-way friendship - just like the rest of Lindsey's relationships. When Carl told Danielle that he was ring shopping, she broke out in laughter. Why in the hell should she expect him to tell her that he was going to propose??? It was disgusting how she made it all ABOUT HERSELF when talking to Lindsay's family. She is soooo jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s sad to see Danielle spiraling this way. I can totally sympathize with her situation in that Lindsay seems like the kind of girl who will neglect a friendship when she gets into a relationship. At the same time, I think Danielle is also doing a lot of projecting; seeing her two best friends thrive together - and *without* her - when she doesn’t seem to be doing too well in her love life and career appears to be manifesting in anger and bitterness. I hope she watches back and realizes how unreasonable her behavior is and how delusional it is of her to expect Carl to include her in the proposal when she has been nothing but negative about their relationship all summer.

I don't even think Lindsay is someone to neglect a friendship. Going by her insta she's really involved with her friends. I think Danielle pulled away, then started gossiping, then started becoming emotionally demanding to a point of being hostile about Lindsay's relationship. Danielle seemed very okay when Lindsay was spiralling after her miscarriage, or being in unhealthy relationships but she's not happy for her now she's in a healthy relationship. If Danielle had not been this way, it's after the engagement that Lindsay would have involved her (wedding dress shopping, bachelorette, bridesmaid, etc), not for the actual engagement. There's something going on with Danielle, and the other girls in the house have encouraged that insecurity in her.

Danielle is one of two things (or both): -Has possessive and/or jealousy issues that she needs to get help for, and/or -Is concerned her Carl/Lindsay disconnect will affect her spot on the show. Because her handling of the entire matter is irrational.

What a STRANGE reaction!

I think Danielle has tried (very poorly) to express that she felt discarded when Lindsay & Carl started dating like they didn’t need her anymore. But instead of being open & honest, she kept talking about how they were moving too fast, which makes her seem jealous bc her relationship is going nowhere. When Carl didn’t tell her he was proposing, it was confirmed (in her mind) that they don’t care about her at all.

It is normal for single friendships to change when the other gets married, and even more once they begin a family. Lindsay TRIED! She and Carl did ALL they could to try to understand Danielle's unreasonable perspective, but each time Danielle turned right around and continued to make this all about her! Her psychotic behavior left Lindsay and Carl no other choice but to cut her out of their life. What more could they have done to satisfy her- other than break up? Danielle single handedly destroyed their friendship (regardless of however selfish and/or one-sided it may have been according to a few of you)! Danielle has ONLY herself to blame for sabotaging it!

If Kyle was able to suck it up and be supportive of the two after Carl asked him to be, Danielle could easily be the same. I understand how she doesn't feel that Lindsey is a super great friend to her, but a lot of the issues are rooted in deep jealousy more than anything. She wasn't a supportive or GOOD friend this season after Lindsey asked her to be. Her reaction is exactly why she didn't deserve to be included in it at all.

What is wrong with Danielle? She's acting like a jealous x-girlfriend but not sure of who! I wasn't included in any of my close friends engagements or even anyone my families and wouldn't expect to be. Danielle is being silly. She hasn’t been very supportive of their relationship, so why would Carl include her and risk Danielle telling Lindsey or ruining it by making it about her. Danielle is not happy in her own relationship, so she keeps finding fault with Lindsey and Carl’s relationship. Grow up girl and be happy for your friend.

What are Karl and Lindsey going to say when they see this reaction? It would be impossible to carry on a friendship seeing this response. Danielle is incapable of being happy for them. I can understand where Danielle is coming from given she is Lindsey's best friend. Like most best friends, they're super involved in the proposal giving the guy ideas of what the girl might want... However, Danielle has displayed time and time again that she is not supportive of this union so I can totally understand why Carl didn't include her. Not to mention that Carl and Lindsay have been best friends for several years, so he basically knows what she wants.

I don’t blame Carl for not, including Danielle in anything. He was privy to first hand knowledge that Lindsey is hostile at that point twd Danielle. Danielle has some strange ideas about friendship. Danielle is expecting too much out of her friendships it seems. This is not your family…nobody owes you anything and she always knew who lindsay was. To expect more out of her than what she has to offer her is unfair and honestly I’m sure it pushes people away to do that. I personally had to adjust my expectations with people in the past as well but it’s a lesson that needs to be learned. Also she seems to be projecting a lot and how she’s digging in her heels IS unhinged. I hope she considers therapy after all this. I’m sure she’s a sweet gal but this is too much. It’s almost like what happens to these reality stars makes them all act like their own narrative is the CORRECT one and they just lean in hard instead doing much needed self reflection.
