While on the show "Over the Rainbow" , Danielle's voice was by no means the strongest but she interpreted songs so well and captured the audience with this incredible light that she has inside she was a shoe in to win and she did. Now we can see with just a bit of training her voice has improved vast amounts. She is going to be a stunning Dorothy.

This is a beautiful version of this song! Danielle did a great job. I liked Sophie Evans voice too. Judy Garland would be very proud!

Her placement is so professional :) and her vocal mix on 'where you'll FIND ME' is beautiful!

I can't help but love the fact that Toto came out to join her at the end of the song.

Excellent. Can't fault this. She's really learned to disguise her vocal "break" since the TV show. I only wish I could sing so beautifully.

She is a very good singer who has worked hard with her training and she still has the heart and naturalness to give the song feeling and warmth. So very few trained singers seem unable to incorporate this. Truly one of the best interpretations of Judy's song. I also like her singing the verse before singing the chorus which is very seldom heard. A very beautiful and wonderful interpretation! 🤗😇♥️

L. Frank Baum would be proud of the fact that his stories and characters have been loved by many generations of families since he first published the wizard of oz in 1900. He would be so pleased with the performance of Danielle Hope, and her castmates in the show. So would Judy Garland, Margaret Hamilton, Billie Burke, Frank Morgan, etc.

What a voice....pure talent.

I didn't think it was possible, but Danielle's voice has improved even more since the show!! I can't wait to see her, and 'The wizaed of Oz' on the opening night, 4 rows from the front, so should be amazing : ) Well done Danielle just proves the right girl won

This is stunning. It shows just how much she's improved and how amazing she really is Although she couldn't belt out those notes on the show, she was the best all round and only needed to learn, which she has, to make her the perfect Dorothy. Beautiful girl, singer and actress and definitely the best that was on the show. I really wanna go see this!

Just watched the 2010 over the rainbow series which put Danielle in this role. You absolutely smashed it 👏 bravo!

I'm playing Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz this year, and this is such a beautiful version of the song. Stunning. A bit bright and belty in sound for my taste, but still beautiful.

She's pretty good.

Her voice is officially on par or even better than Lauren's voice. Amazingly improved. She officially has no more weaknesses.

The one thing I like is how this is the original song. None of that over-emotional trilly bullcrap, with a ska melody, trying to force you to cry your eyes out. A genuinely decent song.

Billie Holiday had a range of just over one octave range and she was one of the best singers of all time. What matters is the performance and if it moves you; not whether you can belt a top C or not.

I think making people listen, really listen to this music and just feeling that they're having a special moment, it's something rare this days, just because everyone knows this song, and so many great and talented people have sunged it...but it's funny how the song works for so very few people, the great singers in the world usually can't sang it....The best's versions are still Cassidy's and Garland...

There's going to be a very tiny tour (most of the Canadian company!), but they aren't coming to the East Coast. I live in MA, so I'm pretty upset about that. :-( If you're interested, the stops the tour is making are: Vegas, LA, Seattle, St. Paul, Greensville, Ft. Lauderdale (Jan 7-19), Ft. Myers, Temple, Costa Mesa, Tuscon, Houstan, Fayetteville, Durham, Clearwater, Grand Rapids, St. Louis, and Philadelphia.

Oh my god! Danielle's always been my second favourite - because of her acting - right after Lauren - because of her voice! I'm happy though, that Danielle won, because she is more similar to Dorothy characterwise. And bravo for Danielle, finally learning how to belt and how to stay in tune. She is surely making a wonderful Dorothy!!! I still prefer Lauren's voice, though.

I do understand the comment about having to have a certain range, however somewhere over the rainbow sounds beautiful soft like the way danielle sings it, I dont think this should be a belty number.

my advice is this- don't try to sing like Danielle. Instead sing like YOU. No one person can emulate another's performance. As long as you find ways to embody the spirit of the show, and the heart and warmth that is Dorothy, and play the part the way YOU, not Danielle, know how to, you will be an amazing Dorothy. I am sure that Judy Garland and Danielle herself would tell you the same thing. As long as you love what you are doing, and it shows in your performance, the audience will love you.
