210 kg for multiple reps is very heavy and hard for his body type (long ass femurs.) Guys with long segments tend to suck at the squat and the bench press. It doesn't mean they can't get strong, but they are less efficient than those guys with shorter legs and arms.

@@LegacyLoot thank you for that, that rep, at least, definitely was fair. I swear they do their best not to give you a decent view of the squat to judge depth from! So unless they really sink it, like daniele, its hard to call. (EDIT: Okay in general his Squats were a bit high. They should make some standard rules to cover it, like hip joint in line with the knee or something, and have a guy at the side with the balls to call it out when its off haha.) Also @Jonathan Hook, there are no rules against hitching, this isn't powerlifting (and I say that as a powerlifter)

Ive been a huge fan of both of these competitors since the league started, and I honestly thought John would reign victorious by a small margin because he is a mountain of raw power and explosiveness. Yet I stand corrected, as even at almost 40, Paulis impeccable technique, pacing, and overall strength led him to a fair win. Heavy ass weights!! Only respect for these power machines! It really makes me angry when ignorant commenters talk shit about these absolute warriors! Not only are the weights heavy but they have to do it without rest, one after another and as fast as they can! You have to be a new breed of athlete! Can't wait to see the final! This year the demigod Faceless showed his human side a little more, so looking forward for a more closer race with Anabolic! Good luck to both competitors!

Who the hell is judging this??? All those no reps for faceless on chin ups.....yet African Rhino doesn’t get a single no rep and half his squats weren’t even close to depth. I mean they were no where near it. WTF guys??? Love this show but these inconsistencies need to be corrected if you want to make this the huge sport it can become. Go Faceless

Nathan & March you're over exaggerating a bit bud I mean 9:00 is a decent squat with adequate depth

Cole Russell so he got one squat. Wow. You’ve kind of missed the whole point haven’t you.......his squats were no where near legal apart from 1 or 2. The judging needs heaps of improvement if they want to make this bigger and bigger

Just don’t watch at 9:00 , I agree he did decent squat there but what about other squats which he performed. Look at Pauli’s form, each and every squat was perfect form and he broke parallel in each rep.

I don’t think that competing through rounds between 2 then the winner proceeds to the next is an accurate way in placing the best athletes .. Matt for example did better than both of them in the quarter finals. It would be better if timing was the judge for who moves on to the next round.

  • @iTzSnoWxD

Mohammad Tashkand wrong, having the first that finishes to proceed is already a timing method, they Just don't show us the timing

iTz SnoW xD you’re totally correct, but what I meant is between competitors who didn’t meet in the quarter finals. If Matt was against John or Daniele he would’ve won the 3rd place by now.
