Ten years later I come from a Steve Vai video casually mentioning you as someone who would lift the guitar to the next level. This masterpiece I now just witnessed is 10 years old. My mind is blown.
Today's "shredders" are just absolutely amazing!!!! I can't believe how this type of guitar playing has evolved so much. It's just unreal. Remember when fast 3 note per string sequences were jaw dropping?!? Beautiful playing Daniele.
Fantastic! A real composer who knows how to use his guitar virtuosity in a musical way.
Thanks Mr Gottardo, I'm feeling the same thing that when I'd ear Malmsteen, Hendrix, Vai, Satriani, Van Halen, Alan Holdsworth, Vinnie Moore, Jason Backer and Marty Friedman, and Petricci for the first time. Thanks.

It is music to my ears,.. as for hard he is trying, I have no idea what is in his head nor will I presume to know. Physically it doesn't look like he is trying very hard, it is pretty fluid in my eyes and pleasing to my ears.

I remember first seeing him play this song when he won the guitar hero contest many many years back. Yes, this guy is truly the Mozart of guitars. His finger tapping and tone and his ability to grace the fretboard at lightning speed are truly amazing. And the way he dynamically uses the hair tie to prevent ringing was a first when I saw him many years back. And if all this isn't enough, he's married to Gretchen Menn, a beautiful amazing guitar player in the all-female band Zepparella. Daniele rules the world!😊
