I can’t believe that your character was originally going to be part of the E-Girls! That’s so interesting to hear. That sounds like it could have been an interesting dynamic with Daniel as part of the E-Girls. I could totally imagine your character having so much sass and clashing of ideals with dominant characters like Emily and Stephanie. But it’s nice to know that they took consideration of your feelings during that time. Your character had such great chemistry with West to the point where I really shipped them together. I loved the duets that you and Lamar had together in Season 1 and Season 5. Also love how Daniel said Michelle’s iconic line in Season 3 when he became one of the villains of TNS lol.

this was a fun video, i love finding out the behind the scenes stuff! (i did NOT expect the back of the studio to just be a backdrop though, i honestly thought it was a proper stage set or the building’s actual wall😂)

Daniel (yourself) is one of the all time best next step dancers in my personal opinion. I remember when you mocked Michelle’s famous quote in season three. “The auditions are in here, right?”. You gave us some awesome fun facts. I had a blue VK bottle in my hand. “Had” being the key word of that sentence 🤭

The next step is amazing Daniel,James ,and Riley are my favorite characters. I started dancing at age 6 however my parents were divorced and very poor. So I couldn’t do dance classes. I danced on the patio for 3 years. Later on we moved into a house and I danced in the garage for 1 year. Then I started taking classes I started with Acro, ballet, tap,and contemporary. I was so behind though I only knew a lot of Acro and some contemporary,but no tap or ballet. However that gave me such a hard work ethic to catch up.this sounds rlly bad ,but I’m so proud of my self I wouldn’t be where I am today without the next step bc the show had inspiring me to keep working to catch up

Love how you are talking about that it was hard for you all to wrap your head around the fact that they changed the „competition rules“. Now you can imagine how I felt as a Swiss person when they introduced Alfie as the prince of Switzerland in season 4 when in fact we do not have a monarchy here and actually never had😂

I just loved soo much your acting and dacing skills, you improved soo much, and you were a big part of my childhood. Thank you soo much!

I have to say that honestly, when i first watched this show, when I was like 10. I didn't even know what gay was, but somehow I know that Daniel was gay. and that is so funny to me. but ya, Daniel being part of the e-girls would have been amazing. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that that was their original idea.

@2:18 do you remember that season one school actually had a little stage that a normal elementary school would have performed like the talent show on… So when you went out the door there you would actually go upstairs onto a little stage that went behind the window wall and then down the stairs to the other door! It’s also the reason why the windows are that exact height, because that was the height of the stage❤ I so wish I took pictures, but I don’t even think our cameras even took photos or videos at that time lol. I mean there was not Instagram… We only had Facebook and even that was new.😂😂😂

Brit said it was already there because the school was an old factory, they also referenced it in the s1 sleepover episode so it’s kinda both. Brit also said that it was taken away for the 2-4 seasons but it was back from five on!!

Honestly thought Daniel was done so dirty in the next step because I didn’t like how his whole attitude and personality changed over him being repeatedly repelled from the next step, first with his ankle injury, then mrs Kate not letting Daniel do many dances because of his ankle after he returned in season 2, and then him leaving and joining the rival studio elite, I loved daniels character but I hated his whole attitude from season 2 onwards because you are such a nice person in real life❤️

Also that pants story is actually grim… I know it doesn’t make it any less rancid but did he ask or just take them?
