Although stephenie didn't show their bonding much, you can clearly see the extent of their love towards eachother because of the way they care for eachother & also based on other people's analysis of them. & their is much emphasis on the love at first sight factor. Obviously their love will be more strongly felt than other love because of their situation.

Well I'm not a fan of Twilight but I have read the series and know about it. I think the reason a lot of people like the books are because down the core, it is a simple love story. A guy falls in love with the wrong girl, and vice versa. Despite their differences, they find common ground: the love they share for each other. Also the fact that it is addicting because it can be predictable. You keep reading because you know you're going to hear what you want to hear. Hope this helps.

i love both! i just felt bad about harry potter though. the story's a little more tragic for me, with some of the main characters dying like sirius black, one of the weasley twins, etc. while twilight has that "and they lived happily ever after...(/forever)" element in it. oh well, you cant expect any of them to die anyway cause they're immortal. lol

I like Daniel. From this interview alone I can tell he knows what he is doing as an actor and is more or less certainly talented. But he seems to enjoy people's attention even more than Rob Pattinson.

I like Rob Pattinson better, he looks more chill. And i can see Daniel getting jealous well he's an scorpio. But Rob Pattinson has better physical qualities than Daniel, that's why Rob is doing better than Daniel. I like the way Rob acts.

why do you work if you hate your job? for experience. that experience will help you getting a better job, so... that is why actors choose to work no matter what in the begging. everybody starts from the bottom or does things he doesn't enjoy. they will pay up eventually.

If you read the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, you learn of Edward's point of view. He obviously learns faster than Bella that he is in love with her & Bella soon follows. But before this, they had acceptable reason for why they gravitated towards eachother, which would be your 'reasons' for their love. Mind you, they get to know eachother very quickly since their relationship was so new & undeniable. New in the sense of her mortality & his immortality. Much of what was left was to love.

I used to not understand why everyone loved HP because im not into those kind of books and movies and I have always loved twilight. Then 3 months ago I finally broke down and watched HP and now im reading them and they are AMAZING! I still don't understand why people can't like both.....

After reading harry potter so many times i could recite it.....backwards. i decided to try something new. i tried the first twilight book, i was delighted by how different it was and thought i might become a fan when i read the second chapter, it all went downhilll, i got bored while reading but i was determined to keep going, finaly i finished it and i realised nothing would ever beat scarheads and gingers. nothing would ever beat the idea of 9&3/4. never. and that is final

I am a female and I have read the Twilight books. I haven't been charmed by Edward, so it's not just reading the books from a females point of view. It's only certain individuals who are charmed by him. When I was a teenager, I admit I had my crushes, but not to the point that some teenagers take it. Some of them become quite obnoxious and annoying about it.

Also, its not so much that people are acting as if its the highest point of 21st literature, but its story is compelling and addicting to read. My sister, who hates the writing of the book, couldn't stop reading it because of its story.

I don't know why people keep trying to compare the HP series to Twilight. I loved both series, but you can't even compare Twilight or Stephanie to JK Rowling. There is SO MUCH in the HP series and no, just watching the films does not even cover it! Twilight is just a fantasy love story. As much as I enjoyed it, Harry Potter is so much better thought out and written. It's an entire world! I think Dan and Rob are both awesome and make me proud that they are from the same place I am.. @ivaniavelasquez who plays Luna Lovegood in the HP films has said we shouldn't compare the two and the audience there surprisingly clapped. So not all HP fans are disrespectful to Twilight. And getting back to who has more fans? We can never really tell since so many like both.

Well I'm not a fan of Twilight, but I've read the books and know about them. I think people like the fact that down to the core, it is a simple love story. A guy falls in love with the wrong girl and vice versa, endangering both of their lives but find a way through it. And I HOPE they don't just like because of "[Character name] is sooo hot", because that is not at all what Stephanie Meyer intended. Sure the books are other-worldly, but it's the love story that brings them to reality.

i wasn't aware that all books are supposed to teach you something, sometimes books, like video games and other activities are simply meant to be read, to relax. Simply because a book doesn't teach much or anything doesn't mean it's not good, while I agree that harry potter can be good stress relief and teach morals, I think twilight is simply an interesting read, I am not sure why there is all the hate and name calling going on because of a person's interpretation of a popular creature
