I'm in the process of revamping my life after many years of living with depression. Fashion is one way that has facilitated my recovery. In my mind if I look good, I feel good. Daniel George's style is premium. I liked everything about him. His taste...his humor ("He's cute for a dude" - hilarious)...his style. Thanks for covering the Bespoke tailoring process with Daniel George! My first experience with quality fabric was trying on a super 150's sport coat in Las Vegas at Ceasar's Palace during mortgage broker convention. I didn't want to take off the jacket! This led me to ordering a made to measure super 150's suit online and I now see how important it is to order and wear quality. I am building my wardrobe of super 150's Italian fabric both as a business owner and as a tango dancer traveling to international festivals. I feel like a million bucks wearing my suit and get great comments. Perhaps a custom Bespoke suit will be in my near future!

everyone wants to look good. for some of us, me, its not clear always how to do it, so this channel is super helpful. Plus its just great to see someone who creates and is at the top of the game...whether suits, or custom cars, or cabinetry, or whatever. Awesome suit...the level of personal interaction to get that kind of suit is unfamiliar to a lot of us...I'm sure you'd get used to it. I have been measured for alterations, but never that degree of interaction for a custom piece. so its an intro into a new world that I'd otherwise never see. Thx for the vid

I'm an attorney working in a significantly less fashion-centered area than either SF or CHI, but still wear a suit frequently. The attention to detail Daniel and his staff showed in both videos is impressive and I love his willingness to buck what would seem to be current trends by using traditional width ties and pant cuffs. These videos have also inspired me to toss some of my older (and cheaper), ill-fitting suits and take my better ones into a tailor to have them properly fitted. In addition, it is clear from these videos that buying one or a few higher quality, properly-fitted suits is much preferable to multiple cheaper, off-the-rack suits. And you don't have to spend a fortune on nicer suits if you know where and when to look (even if you don't have the budget for Daniel's shop). Thanks very much to everyone for putting these videos together.

I enjoyed both videos so much, I watched them twice! I have had “wool in my bones” since my Newman Marcus days of selling classic menswear, working my way through collage in the ‘80’s. I have always enjoyed the whole bespoke process. How cool is that, to be able to have exactly what you want, made just for you, the way you want. I really love your suit you designed. A Glen plaid fabric with a windowpane, soft shoulder, peaked lapel, slanted flap pockets..... nicely done!! Mr George has a wonderful sense of humor and made the whole process really fun. He is a true craftsman ( you can tell by his keen eye for alterations). Kudos to you for picking such a wonderful fabric that he suggested. The suit fits you perfectly and looks amazing!! I have a fun “Glen plaid” story if you choose to read on.... Around ten years ago my friend was getting married and I needed a new suit. So I went to Brooks Bros and saw John who had helped me many times. I explained my situation and he came out with this handsome gray Glenn plaid suit with a royal blue windowpane. It fit like a glove and I had to have it. I paired it with a custom White Sea island cotton shirt with a 4” spread collar, blue and white dotted tie and black oxfords. I go to the wedding and at the reception, the groom comes over to me and said, he has had several people ask “who is the guy with the good looking suit”? Then I noticed that every time I wore the suit after that, I would get compliments. The last time I wore the suit was a few years ago at thanksgiving at a nice resturant here in Newport Beach and the guy across from us came up to our table after he was finished and said “ that’s a pretty fly suit you have on, the best one I have ever seen”. Sadly the suit has been retired since then because the lapels are slightly thin for today’s standards and there are no cuffs on the pants. Glen plaid fabric is very special because you just do not see very many gentlemen wear it. Cheers to you and Mr George for such good taste. But, be preppaired for compliments every time you wear your stylish new suit (especially how beautifully you designed it). I’m in glen plaid envy...

I am fairly new to this site but, I am so glad that I found it. I have learned so much and I can’t wait for the next episode. I have always been so interested in suits but I have never been able to buy one. I know now why, I have always went to a normal department store hoping to find one that fit like the one that Daniel has crafted you. What a great looking suit, and the process seems so easy and fun. I'm small waisted with bigger shoulders and chest and I've never had a suit fit me just right. I could only imagine how comfortable that is for you to wear. Great job gents!!

Every time I have been fitted for a suit, I close my eyes and try to choose the garment that feels the most comfortable. If you're not relaxed and confident it can make the suit look terrible with the body language. This episode speaks measures for that, looks incredible too. Congrats!

These two videos are the best on your channel. Love your subtle approach to men's fashion and the education. Love the details you included such as all the tweaks and adjustments with fabrics & fit, the suit is so beautiful I'm tearing up. What a great video. After many years of spinal and neck surgery, vigorous weight gain, rehabilitation, weight loss, on the way back to life, then cancer with serious complications, then healthy after cancer, weight loss and the fight back to life. Now I am at 55 kg lighter and back to my former strength and my normal me. And after the body is back to its original shape, my interest in being a well-dressed man has also returned. I also saw the first video and here in this video I'm almost blown away. Gaining a little insight into a normally closed bespoke world is of the utmost interest and I was completely on the edge of the chair whatching the video. And what a fantastic suit you got made by Daniel George, who seems to be a wonderful sympathetic and extremely skilled man. I hope you get many amazing hours and experiences in your new suit Claus

Both Part 1 and Part 2 of this series were extremely educational. I do not have a normal physique and when I purchase new clothing I know that they don't fit quite right. I have not known before what to look for and what to ask for in changes to make things fit correctly. Now I know a lot more about the topic and have a better chance of being able to ask for the correct changes. I truly appreciate the knowledge learned here in these two videos. This is the first bespoke suit I have ever really considered. Prior to this video handmade suits seemed to me like overpriced luxuries for the rich, especially when I could go to a large department store and buy a mass produced suit for a fraction of the price. I love how attentive detailed to the fitting of this suit. I’ve had several custom suits made but Daniel’s expertise is superb.

The client experience is fantastic, having DG look after your needs is already a prize. Second, the true and honest recommendation how DG feels you should look like is another. What I am looking for and that is important for me too is what John said how comfortable he feels in the suit. I had suits that the moment I embrace myself and specially sitting both trousers and jacket squeezes. This is a true Bespoke experience and difficult to find. All the best to both DG and John.

Thanks for this video! Very helpful. I live in San Francisco Bay Area and was thinking about a good bespoke tailor in San Francisco. I've tried Indochino before but it's far from being perfect despite of the long back and forth adjustment process. There is always a peace of Software out of your control between you and real tailor. When you go to their showroom, they put your adjustments in the system send your garment to a tailor but it never returns with all improvements you've discussed. Some of your preferences and even critical adjustments the system simply rewrites to the default template settings. In my case it led into complete mismatch between the jacket and the vest. Once you get in their showroom your measurements are hidden from you in your account, so you can't control them. I also loved Daniel's navy suit. It's👍🏻 Really sweet 👌🏻

Pointing out the changes and details why it's a good fit is also useful to know when you buy an off the peg item if a bespoke suit is not an option for us all. Noticing what's wrong is as useful as knowing what's right.

This was very helpful. I'm very glad cuffs are making a come back. I wear a sport coat every day. I always feel good when I'm looking my best. Your channel has helped me greatly to find my look. The suit and clothes look incredible. I bet it really feels great to wear a suit that's made for you!

Suit fits perfectly and you can see the quality of the fabric. You describing that it feels like wearing a shirt was an eye opener. Color seems to be very versatile, you maybe can have 5 different looks for this suit. And a review in 1 year how often you chose it. I believe that’s a good proof

Great looking suit, everything is definitely on point! I think the best part about bespoke is getting to know your tailor, there are shops where you walk in, and after a few minutes of chat it's like you just made a new best friend. Of course the actual suit being made is the most important, but I think the relationship is just as important. Also wow at the generosity!

Wow you look like a boss. After losing 150 pounds, turning 40, and now cancer free. It’s difficult to find a suit that fits me correctly. I am not sure if I could afford such a beautiful suit. But my goal is to save enough money to purchase one. If I look half as good as you I would feel great. Thanks again.

I would love to go see Daniel and purchase a suit and sportjacket but I am approximately 2966 miles away from him. maybe I can book an appointment with him and make a vacation out of it. I recently lost 40 pounds and I’m now back into dressing well and feeling well about it. I appreciate your videos because I am about to turn 61 but look like I’m in my 40s. I don’t want to dress like a kid but then again it’s always good to know the dos and don’ts of dressing well and making a statement. I wore my suit last night to a gala and again I received a ton of compliments. I had 2 follow up fittings. The first had a week turnaround and the second was about an hour. Daniels staff handled both fittings and they did a great job.

John that suit is perfect! Lapels are amazing, ties go perfectly, wide spread collar is on point. Love the besom pockets and I have to have those shoes!! I’d die if I got one of those suits!

I live in Japan. I wear a pair of suit at least once a week. I have about 10 pairs of suits and some leather shoes. Consulting and ordering suit from professionals like Daniel George is a must if your just starting. Believe me, initial investment is all worth it. However, there’s a big chance, you will keep going back.

Nice suit and great fitting. Daniel George seem to be an excellent bespoke tailor.

Hello John, as Daniel said you look good in this suite standing, sitting, and walking. I am from San Francisco bay area, wasn't aware of Daniel George. Thank you once again for making yet another very informative video and thanks to Daniel to provide details what it takes to make a perfect suite. For me making a suite from Daniel at this point in my life is out question because I am supporting two of my kids for college till then thank you Daniel for picking John for this collaboration.

Only one word is needed. Awesome! You look great John. This is way going with a custom suit makes perfect sense to. It really does complement any man so much more when tailored correctly. I have a light grey one and a dark navy one. Both are my favorites and work well for any type of occasion. Once you go with it you'll want to stay with it. Great video.

The quality just stands out, the fit makes it look like it was literally painted on his body; it starts at the shoulders and follows his every muscle and curve as if by magic.

great video, always curious of getting a bespoke myself and helps me move forward in that direction
