Bill is absolutely rejoicing here now that he is finally able to play the songs at the correct tempos, much unlike what D&C has done. Seems that Billy got tired of Bobby's super slow tempos and wanted to take the music in a different (IMO better) direction that better suits the song. Dead & Slow. I love Bobby, but I literally have to set every single video of them playing at 1.10x speed to even approach the proper tempo (without any weird distortion or pitch effects going on). In my experience, D&C at about 1.10x speed enhances the music and makes it sound more alive. It's definitely cool to see Billy look like he is having so much fun now that he can finally play the songs with other musicians who share his vision for how Grateful Dead music should be played. I really respect that.

Dude agree with turning down the keys..saw them a couple months ago and Daniel was quiet compared to the keys..great player but wanted to hear the guitar!was kind of annoying

Kanika Moore is outstanding probably some of the finest singing I've ever heard

Absolutely fantastic from Daniel and the group as expected. Billy K looked very happy up there. And Kanika is WONDERFUL.

Man , Daniel reminds me of Rory Gallagher. Cumberland Blues, with that check shirt,and denim jacket ❤️‍🔥

So glad I found this.

In a year or two Daniel will be up there with Billy Strings. Amazing so he is. Love his podcast also. Billy K is loving playing with this cat rather than the boring D&C. Same with Billy and the Kids. Having young people on stage with fresh spins on tunes is what BK wants....IMO

They certainly jam it well, but the vocals are grating. I recommend checking out some more Cumberland Blues. 6/23/74 is a solid one.

This just shows how lousy Mickey Hart is. We always knew Billy was good by himself but now we can also see how he sounds with another drummer who isn't constantly stepping on his toes.

The keys here are absolutely flawless, but DAMN the guitar is way too low in this mix. Like, criminally low. We shouldn't have the lead guitar be trampled over by the keys throughout a massive portion of the set. Come on, sound guy! lol

@@erickihlenburg2874 it’s a damn shame, too. This is a fantastic performance and Billy sounds the best I’ve heard him in a LONG time. Looks like he is having a blast playing with these guys, too. Never saw him smile and make such happy faces at all during Dead & Co.
