this was my favourite tour yet, because the interview was so natural and felt true. Keep visiting different types of home studio, it is refreshing to see studios that are not over the top. Love the channel!

@@AndrewMasters you should try to get Rhett Shull to interview about his home studio (it sounds like it should be finished by spring).

It's so helpful to get inspiration by looking at small studios where someone has optimized it for their unique needs, vs. massive studios with every kind of gear intended to meet the expectations of any generic producer or engineer who walks in.

I know Daniel. Well kind of. My band Autumn's Waiting opened for his band in Burlington, Iowa back in Oct. 2019. His guitar player, Nick, is a good friend of mine that I've gigged with from here in Iowa, and hooked us up with the gig. Great group of guys and an awesome band.

Love the simplicity of everything he presented. Been downsizing and simplifying my own gear and rig setups,- and I still have waaay too much!.... so his minimal studio setup with minimal fuzz about the guitars, amps and the pedalboard on top makes perfect sense even to my three amps, two 4x12 stereo cabs wet/dry/wet monster metal 220W rig setup..... At least he had more instruments than me,- that is,- if I dont count the basses, the acoustics, the keyboards and the various traditional instruments I own,- like a flute, a Baroque recorder, some harmonicas, what not.... O´, and the bass rigs ( live,- and studio), and the studio guitar rigs (live rigs to powerful to tame for studio work,- sounds anaemic)... and the tube guitar and bass preamp pedals ( Mesa V-Twin, Hughes and Kettner Tubeman and Tube Factor, Randall Rgod, Diezel Herbert, Engl Powerball,- all with cab simulators for DI-work etc.... Gues I´ll keep living by the famous quote: " More is more !".... Yngwie J. Malmsteen!
