Well, if you want to be technical, Debbie McWilliams was the casting director for Skyfall. I'm not exactly sure if she casted Javier herself, but I would assume she was a definitive role in casting him

This entire interview was lovely, but the ending where Javier asks Daniel a fairly innocent question led to me laughing so hard I was wiping away tears. 😂🤣😂🤣

That mark was a distraction for me, throughout the entire video i was like "Javier please tell Daniel there's a small mark blood in his head" and thank god Javier told him at the end 🤣🤣

One more thing they have in common: they are both married to a beautiful and talented Oscar winner actress

They are clearly good friends, enjoying each other’s company. Thank you for letting us sit in.

Both are humble gentlemen. Love the way they praise and appreciate each other. No wonder they are successful in their trade, as they both love what they are doing.

Javier Bardem was one of the best Bond villains of all time and the best one during the Craig era. He was why Skyfall was so good.

8:00 Javier is so right that Daniel Craig’s performance in “No Time To Die” brought James Bond to a far more dynamic range and depth that it’s ever been taken.

This has to be one of the best Actors on Actors I have ever seen. They seem to have the sweetest friendship.

"If I don't get injured while I'm acting, I'm not doing it properly" made me really laugh. Talk about two cool guys. Brilliant.

Its like they’ve already built so much rapport with each other it shows. They even mimic each other at points - love it!

That was a delight to watch. You can feel the love and respect they have for each other. That last question was gold.

The love and respect between them is just amazing

I need this two men in a comedy...the chemistry that they show up here deserves to be replicated more than once.

One of those conversations you catch yourself smiling all the way through

Love watching and listening to this kind of respect and adoration between two people. The fact that it is Daniel Craig AND Javier Bardem 😍😍 oh my!!

You can feel the energy of two good actors and decent human beings coming out and making you feel good

You can really tell they enjoy each other's company

Skyfall is my favorite Bond film because of the both of you. The chemistry is magic. :)

Rewatching Skyfall for the 11th time while appreciating the commitment, love and the respect exhibited by these talented people, for both their art and colleagues, on and off set, makes you realise this film is so much more than just a masterpiece. I often wonder whether the actors and production team behind this fully grasp the extent to which they impact the lives of their audience and especially hardcore Bond fans. The Craig era truely stands out for it's story, aesthetics and emotional weight. It's a tough act to follow, that's for sure.

They should do more movies together, the chemistry is impeccable. Love them both.

Javier slowly becoming one of my all time favorite actors. He would be awesome in a western film.

Agreed. He is next level. Do yourself a favour and watch Dune Part 1, if you haven't already. The whole cast is on point, but JB's (albeit brief) time on screen is absolutely riveting - he'll have a much bigger presence in part 2....from what i've seen, I cannot wait.

"No Country for Old Men" is almost a western and Bardem won the Oscar.

I have exhausted all the interviews by watching them again n again. I am so happy i found a new Daniel craig and Javier’s interview

Could listen to these two for hours. They are adorable together. And funny, and interesting

I'm so glad Javier mentioned the way Daniel acted as James Bond in the last movie, he added a more 'human' trait to the character, a lil bit more loose, it felt more natural. I think he got tired of playing this serious James Bond character the way he's suppose to and reinvented the character very subtly, and it showed as he looked like he was enjoying himself again playing the character for the last time.

I liked your comment, but I have to disagree with part of it. Daniel actually portrayed the role the way Ian Fleming wrote the character, to begin with not "the way he's supposed to." That was him doing his research on his own not just what was in the script. That's reinventing the character. All actors after Connery tried to copy that suave approach, but not Craig.

Just revisited No Country ánd Dragon Tattoo and now this pops up. I love these two together!

For most of the interview, I felt Daniel Craig’s forehead seemed normal. Because I’m so used to Bond being so beaten up all of the time. 😂😂😂

Loved this interview! You can feel their chemistry oozing through Zoom, I wonder what it would be like if they were in person. I'd love to see them in a movie together, because they would both be freakin' brilliant, and it would have to be a comedy too. Somebody please cast Daniel and Javier together!!!😍

Such a wonderful interview. Both men are very articulate and express their feelings so openly. English is a second language for Javier but he was very articulate in English. I kinda hoped Daniel's little girl would run in to interrupt.

It's great to see again Daniel for another new interview after 3 months. I really enjoyed it so much especially, when he said about his singing skills, his giggles, more detail about the upcoming movie Knives Out 2, that I can't wait to see it, when will release it and the last part of the interview killed me, that didn't know his scar above his head and the Bond joke related about 😂😂😂. Also good to see back Javier after 10 years finally met again with Daniel, how he changed I didn't recognize him, at first that he was in Skyfall as Silva.

God this was so good! I hope we can see them again some day!
