I get the strong feeling watching Daniel Craig interviews after having seen Glass Onion that he only wants to just be unleashed. Bond is so constrained. It's such an exercise in stoical subtlety. This dude wants to chew the fucking scenery. And, my god . . . when he does . . . it's so fantastic. He's superb from mannerisms, to costume (regarding which he collaborated heavily with the costume designer), to accent, to affectations and "business", to the blocking he got in this movie vs Knives Out. It's all so damn good, and I'm really happy that he now gets to work with a great partner in Rian Johnson and that we all get to reap the rewards of their efforts.

My onl gripe in this entire interview is that Ali said One of Us Is Lying is new lol. It was topping teen YA novel lists my freshman or sophomore year of highschool and then adapted, but it was very popular pre-Knives Out!

First time hearing of Daniel Craig I was thinking that this dude is another way "to cool" action actor again. But these movies proofed me otherwise. He fits so perfect in genius funny roles and hes surfing on the mood these films have, like no other. Hope they are doing a third one!

Glass Onion is a Master Class in so much, `1. How to write a mystery to a sophisticated society, I do not want to give spoilers, but I had it nailed and even it made me start doubting myself, which means I love it when Blanc goes off on it in the solution,. I do not know that Craig could have been Blance without being Bond first, but I love the brilliant imbecilic detective who gets nothing and everything right all the time.
