He was very good in Lucky Logan.
After seeing No Time to Die, and how Craig refined Bond into being a chill, laid back dude with a lot more personality, you can’t tell me that this wasn’t a deleted scene from the movie.

Daniel Craig makes for a really good comedic actor, it's interesting seeing a crazy, fun-loving version of James Bond. Also, loved Kenan being Kenan here.

Check out the special features in the 50 years of Bond box set. They actually thank about that. His dead pan comedic timing works extremely well with the Bond character. Some have said he is the closest to Fleming's vision of Bond. Tom Hardy should be on the list to be the next Bond.

This is one of the greatest monologues and shows that after Bond Daniel Craig has a great career transitioning into comedy. His Spoof on his Bond character is amazing.
Daniel's making a good start trying to fit in with the world of comedy, here's to hoping that the promotion for No Time To Die does much more well as this impressive sketch

They need to make Daniel Craig a cast member. I actually chuckled 4 or 5 times in the sketches he was in.
That's an instant classic. One of the best monologues ever. They've had some bangers the last few seasons.
He's great as Bond but what I really want is another dose of that sweet sweet Benoit Blanc accent 🧐🍷 Edit: Holy $hit, they actually did a sketch. I'm poor so I wait for youtube uploads.

Daniel Craig is a funny, likeable host and he's clearly having a great time so I hope he gets invited back when No Time to Die actually premieres in November. Season 45 hosts have been high quality and the past two weeks with Craig following up John Mulaney have been excellent.

Going from dead serious James Bond to comedy for Daniel Craig! I support him 100% ! It's a bold and tough move, and I like him as an artist!
He just “moved” to NY. Maybe he bought a second house in NY, but he very famously lives in Primrose Hill, North London. He and his wife are in the British papers almost daily, and quite a presence around town.
"I'm not a nerd - you're a nerd!" When Bond says it, take his word for it - or end up like that croupier in the sketch. :)
I always thought Daniel Craig belonged as the new James Bond/British action fellow but after seeing him in Logan Lucky and here I cant wait to see more of his comedic chops

Probably. But, you know what? I'm glad he was there. This is a fun sketch. I forget if SNL films in November - if it does, they should get him back and make jokes about the movie being postponed. Craig's got the comedy chops and is a pretty fun host.

@theplourde: Yes, he was booked to appear on SNL and they had already started rehearsals when the word from MGM came down. As a James Bond fan, it was a touch disappointing to hear. Still I am sure that come November, No Time To Die will be a success. For the last 25 years, the Bond films have opened in the fall and have done well at the box office.
