DC will always be a legend and titan of MMA. He was only defeated by the two GOATS of there division. DC had an amazing career and its awesome to see the team that helped bring that to fruition

DCs the man I wish he woulda got that last one but till the end was a true champion, role model and great dude! I was so happy for him when he slept Stipe! I felt like it was a lifetime of being second to the best ever and he finally had his time! Second in nationals to the best ever Sanderson. Fourth in Olympics then it’s his time to go deep and he has an issue and pulls out. Then he is second to Jones the best 205er ever and he goes up the beast with the big belly and a big heart and boom under hook snaps the best HW into some dirty boxing and he’s still undefeated at HW with two belts! Something Jones never had the balls to do so worried about his record even with the longer bigger frame! Even now he needs mad time to prep to move to HW! He was beating Stipe in the second one pretty handily as well and had things going great in the third too. Thanks for a hell of a career big dog!

It blows my mind how chunky DC always is. He totally could make middle weight if he wanted but he wrecked fucking house at light heavy and heavy. If there's one thing I'd like to see it's DC against a bunch of 185lb guys just dominating.

Definitely the greatest ufc interim champion ever. He could never quite pull the button against the real goats, but he definitely wore there shoes while they were out.
