    Because he was at the top, there's no point taking lower fights just to take more damage if they aren't for something that you want. He got to the level where he had that luxury and fully deserved to have that choice.

    I'm a Stipe fan and I'm neutral with DC but that video really made me emotional, I'm here to tell you: Stay strong, hoping you have a great life and I hope you find your dreams, DC is proud of his career, he is a HOFer and don't worry, Stipe will be the HW GOAT and MMA GOAT, and when he gets through Jon and FN, DC will no longer feel ashamed of losing to someone like Stipe.

    I remember the 1st fight i saw him in it was his last fight before coming to UFC. He flipped the guy, called out the top guys in ufc and told them he was on his way. I was by myself running around giddy like “ooooohhhhh”. Knew it would be a good time but had no idea I was being entertained by one of the greatest (Men) to ever do it. A rose for one of my heroes.
