This is the most beautiful performance I’ve ever seen. I’m not an overly emotional person, but this has tears running down my face. You can see and feel his soul. He’s truly a conduit for the divine. This kind of talent channels through from a higher dimension.

I’ve listened to a lot of music. But almost no other song has ever produced such an emotional reaction from me before. I was working my desk job and came across this performance on KZread and it sent goosebumps throughout my entire body, and brought a tear to my eye. I’ve never even been in love before so I can’t relate much to this song, but the detail in Daniel’s voice still struck a deep, visceral emotional reaction from me. Art with the ability to do this, in my eyes, is absolutely a masterpiece, and Daniel the master artist.

Is it though? Music is an appreciation of human talent. Think about sports, which are also an appreciation of human talent. There is no auto-dribble, auto-pass, or editing of the game afterwards to make it look more smooth. And that's what allows people to appreciate it because otherwise it's not a direct appreciation of human talent and instead becomes an appreciation of the editor's ability, which is also an appreciation of human talent but not quite the appreciation of good basketball. I see singing the same way. After all, good artists, pianists, saxophonists, singers, spend hundreds of hours of work that you don't see getting to where they are in terms of talent. So do editors perhaps but when you see that raw human ability to sing or play an instrument without editing there's an appreciation for those who tend to appreciate that kind of talent. Over-editing ruins that.

Man this is just so effortless and beautiful. Pure, raw talent, and oh so buttery smooth. ❤

Either way you look at it music is subjective. Like it or not like it, they're right about their own opinion. Anyone that really knows music knows that.
