If you find the CD of Barenboim with the Berlin performing the Dante Symphony there's a solo performance of this piece. Incredible.
Pretty rare to see Barenboin such a gargantuan Liszt piece, amazing video!

L'autre très grand chef d'oeuvre de Liszt, à côté de la Sonate en si mineur, joué avec la fermeté et la franchise de mains habituelles de Barenboim doublées d'une aisance virtuose confondante.

Etonnnant Daniel Barenboim! Il me semble parfait dans tous les compositeurs qu'il aborde: Beethoven (les Diabelli!), Mendelssohn (Romances sans paroles), et ici Liszt. Il maîtrise son instrument, ses mains sont puissantes (en fait c'est tout le corps qui joue), et son discours est toujours intelligent. Il sera toujours pour moi l'un des plus grands pianistes.
Buenas caballero, espero que esté bien!!! No tendrá a Barenboim tocando la sonata de Liszt...también tiene unas grabaciones tocando obras de Wagner transcritas por Liszt...vi esas grabaciones de pequeño y sería agradable volver a verlas(escucharlas). Saludos.

Qué tal. Tengo aún muchas cintas por rescatar, pero últimamente no encuentro el momento de ponerme a ello. Seguramente antes de Navidad empezaré de nuevo a publicar cosas. Quiero recordar efectivamente esas interpretaciones de Liszt por Barenboim. Espero que aparezcan entre cinta y cinta. Un saludo!!
