30* here in Florence, Oregon (Coastal town) windchill 25* and dropping. Its 10pm so how low do we go ?

I work at CS Wind in Pueblo, CO and like that it seems meteorologists are taking this more seriously. In 2020, I drove to work and it was -18°F (Real Feel: -19°) and so brutal that my heater DID NOT TURN on in my 20+ minute commute NOR did my truck shift out of 2nd gear (broken water pump?). I feel horrible for humans that live through this weather, during an era of unimaginable BILLIONAIRE WEALTH. Every city should be given emergency money to house and help the weakest people.

@@tubetime39 Oil field workers have been using PJ for 100 years to stay in the Cold. Think that's whom started the practice. Makes sense.

In Alberta tonight it will be -39C -/-49C with the windchill . That would be -38F / -59F with the windchill . I had to use WD40 on the back screen door because it froze shut LoL. Stay warm Folks.

Here in mcalester Oklahoma the early morning temperature was a chilly 6 degrees outside with a wind chill of -10. I used to live in Colorado, and I don't miss the constant extreme cold of Colorado this time of year. Here, 6 degrees is a rarity in December.

Wow!! 42°F to 5°F in just one hour!! Later today the artic front is gonna come here to New Jersey. The temperature is rising now and the highs are gonna be in the upper 50's this morning and later tonight in the lower 10's.

Colorado's below zero wind chill does mild try being in Kansas there will be areas that will see 40 to 50 below zero with the wind chill and where I live right now it's 12 below zero and dropping supposed to hit 20 before sunrise

Just tell people to stay home. Don't say "Stay home if you can". It is very risky if people think they need to go somewhere to do some silly thing slike buying groceries, gifts,beer etc.. The temperattures are dangerous to be out anywhere. If your car battery fails in thethe mddle of somewhere or your vehicle fails for any reason somewhere, the tow truck driver may not be able to come in quick time to tow yoru car and take you somewhere. So don't be stupid. jsut stay home.

I've lived in Colorado for over 50 years and lived through much colder weather than this. Just dress appropriately and you'll be fine. What do you think people do in Alaska, just stay home all the time? Lol... Bunch of babies today.

It is sick how many we are going to loose in the cold in this next week and its going to be on Christmas. And many are our brother and sister veterans. Or family that has been empowerd by this destructive force called woke that has spiraled out of control even on its self. And they will blame someone else and they have the control in their hand. It is really an utter disgrace. My God have mercy on the souls of the innocent children in the middle that have no real protector just an exploiter over them. That is the single most repetitive nightmare I have and keeps me awake each and every night is crying children. See a little history: While handing out food in Irag a father broke his daughters leg to get to go down and eat a hot meal at the temp hospital tent beside the area we was at handing the children MRE's and candy. The scream, I hear it as if it was just min ago, I tried and was stopped and removed from area. It will haunt a person to the core, to see people place theirs in these situations is mind blowing to say least, And to have elected to lax the border to encourage people to bring their children into dangers, what the hell are you doing? Are you that decutant demonic down-low degrading to life. Heck Just send a plane and fly them in if your going to let them in anyway hell. But now you have them suffering and crying the whole way. You should be the ones setting for hours listening to the screams not some 20 yr old that has to live with it rest of his life. God have your hands over the children, homeless!

My guess is: The have a tjermometer reading of mercury with in a glass tube. Then they factor in the known wind speed to give wind chill factor. So the feels like tempreture is an out doors tempreture of stationary tempreture plus wind. Air passing by your naked dkin st speed can carry more heat away quicker than still air. I hope that helps.
