The build is nice, but what I appreciate more is this guy's manners and respectfulness. He made sure you say "yes sir, no sir" with nearly every answer. That is not common anymore. He seems like a good dude who was raised right.

I feel him on the alternator situation 😂 i paid 600$+ for my JS alternator its 370 amp came with the big 3 upgrades etc but i think its mandatory to get when running that much power , i have the newer version of that taramps amp the 8k smart bass on 4 kicker L7 with only 1 xs battery no voltage dropping at all so the alternator does play a big role but for most of us we build as we go , cant just throw 20k plus on a new ram 1500 like some people can , nice build tho 👌🏽

@@Onthewayupp I got 4 agm batteries on mines with the Big 4 on 6 12s in my Escalade and it’s holding up for now but after like 30-45 mins idle I start to see the voltage drop a little but I plan to get a 320 alt soon

If you got good lithium it’ll be ok, not ideally the best but will work, I had 2 lithium banks lev60 on a taramps 12k no alt would hold high 11’s and low 12’s basically where it’s rated it and 0 problems for years

Stock alternator 8000 W tire amps crazy makes me want to add another battery to my car set up at sick and the box is super nice love the curvature on the front it really is special the inversion on that massive magnet really shows off that sub perfect set up shut up to this bro

@@b1782w I have a 9k on 2 zvxv2s used to get stinky when I was breaking them in, the same with my 5k on 2 CT Stratos and the same thing and went to a smaller box that helped too

I think we all as bassheads should never run over 3k on a stock alternator just for the simple fact that can be a hazard situation sooner or later but this is impressive for a 8k being on stock alternator. No hate just a personal opinion.

That is a Ram truck. The factory basic alternator is 180 amps with an option for 220 amps. Then there is another option to add dual alternators from the factory which adds up to 380 amps if you have a gas motor or 440 amps with the diesel motor!! Factory alternator options are not low power anymore.
