That skull crack was visceral. I sort of like how they also put Tommy through the ringer so much - shows a level of toughness and grit that means he's not just the smart master mind manipulating everything from his mansion. He is just as much a soldier as his brothers.

Adorkable is so perceptive - the only one ever to see the priest run around the little girls to get to the boy. Props , girl. I love you.

This is the moment that Ada was really scared for Tommy well being.

Why Tommy could not just kill the priest at that dinner: The Shelby's had just "buried" their father. His last words were asking for their forgiveness. They all hate him, BUT he is still their father. Hence the killing of the Stag as a sign of respect, then that was finished with. The priest made it clear to Tommy that if anything happened to him, Tommy's son would be forfeit (they have people with access). Tommy will not, could not, take a chance on losing his son, especially after losing Grace. Tommy will do anything to protect his son. When Tommy went blind, he said it himself, he could still see his father. Which actually proves that Tommy is nothing like his father (which he probably worried about becoming like). Tommy is a master tactician, he has set in motion plans to protect the family before giving in to the injury, without endangering his son who means EVERYTHING to him.

Season 3 is easily my least favorite of this excellent series. I’ll jump back in to watching every episode you guys upload once this season’s finale is here so I can watch it all at once.

Same, I just didn't vibe with this season like the others, I'm still watching tho.

I absolutely hate the priest so much! Love the actor Paddy Considine though. I know him from Simon Pegg & Nick Frost movies Hot Fuzz and World's End. Both hilarious comedies. Seeing him here and then as King Viserys in House Of the Dragon I have a whole new respect for his acting chops. I was just use to him being silly. Dude got some range!
