A lot of Daneliya's fans are in Europe but only Americans were allowed to vote. If you looked at how many views each of the competitors received for their performance videos she consistently had the most number of views.

She is still by far the most popular of all of the participants on that show. The army of her fans is growing by the week even without any new live performances.

For me, Daneliya is an absolute ten.

That’s my favorite kid. I tend to think she gets better and better each time something gets released. But that’s me. While these competitions serve a purpose, in this instance sheer exposure to an American audience, I don’t think they lend themselves to the best possible performances a lot of the time. Daneliya, and probably most if not all singers, sing best in my opinion when they sing to sing, because it makes them happy. That’s what I like. I don’t really notice the nasal thing, or maybe I am just used to it, and like it. I don’t know. I’m not a vocal coach. I just love Daneliya. And I’ll always support her, even if she decides to pursue her other goal, becoming a lawyer. She wishes to do both. I for one, want to see her accomplish that one. A Popstar and a lawyer? Go for it, Daneliya!

Daneliya is amazing. She is better and better today. Wonderful covers: River, Runnaway, The Hills, Radioactive and original songs "Don't Cha", "OMG", "My day", "The Others". For her nothing less than a ten. Thanks for reaction.

@@BritPopsReact BP-1, I'll tell you what, when you learn to say her name correctly maybe, maybe you might have something to say about her singing. Who would you put in the Elite section of singers her age? May be Angelina Jordan? I do know that Dimash has called her a "National Treasure". I think I would believe his judgement about a persons talent. He didn't have to say anything. But maybe you think Dimash is just a gimmicky singer. That he doesn't have any real skill as a singer, hard to tell. Well I guess this will fall on deaf ears as I'm certain you feel your background in assessing talent exceeds mine. I had to say it though because the level of your condescension is pretty spectacular.

For some reason, B1 does not like Daneliya. Maybe he is too attached to Angelina but Angelina can not be compared to Daneliya because she is a jazz singer, and Daneliya is a pop singer and has a nasal problem which makes her voice unick, warm and pleasant to listen to. Thanks guys, true to your word a great Daneliya Tuleshova video. This was a couple of years ago now when she was just13 and just like Angelina Jordan was eliminated before the final. I value your opinions as always but if you reviewed some of her more recent covers then you would see how her vocals have matured. A great surprise to find this on your channel today, so a huge thank you. I love this young super talented teenager (15 now) and hope she gets the breaks that are needed. As Simon indirectly stated, Daneliya "flew all the way from Kazakhstan' omitting to say that actual trip occurred in the previous two days, specifically on invitation from AGT. She was jet lagged and exhausted when suddenly trust out onto the stage for her first audition. She basically 'could not believe' it was happening so fast. She was primarily very nervous about having to perfectly understand and answer Simon's initial questions live in English, but she settled in quickly adding, 'but it is ok'. The KZread sound quality was noticably poor at this time, and there were many complaints from her followers.

Daneliya is great, great future ahead. She recorded Tears of Gold a year later & her vocal growth is superb.

I just don't know what to think. I've seen her audition several times now and it's impressive, but in my mind there's always the followup "...for her age." I bet she grows into her talent and will be a force to be reckoned with in a few years. No doubt she has a promising future. I mean, the girl can sing. If she's diligent, she might be able to reacth the jaw-droppin' heights of Shoshana Bean singing Make It Rain live at The Theater At Ace Hotel. That's a sly recommendation, BPR. :)

@capstan50g As you say, there does appear to be the follow up. Also hard not to compare to the other young singers we have reacted/reviewed. This was from last year and we hear that her cover have come on a lot. All in all, good way to get us all up to speed on her progress. OK, we have that one noted down and see what we can do. Does Simon scare the hell out of anyone else when he smiles? In that Eurovision competition she finished sixth but was voted, The Audience Favorite Contestant' this was a big award since she didn't win but endeared herself to the live audience and also the viewing audience. She is friendly with her fellow contestants and does not sing or root against them, but does her best to be helpful and supportive. This thing you have about "nasally" singers is a hold over from the 50's and classical training. Also when Daneliya sings quietly at the start of a song it's to allow the building of and towards a better finish. She is telling stories with her singing. Plus all these are done under time constraints that leave little time to form a song the way they would like. Something she said later was she was battling some sort of bug and she only had a day and a half to get the Sia song 'Alive' ready. She also said she was exhausted and feeling terrible so there was a lot of crying and trying to sleep. I know I sound like an apologist but remember she had just turned 14 and couldn't celebrate her birthday. She was probably homesick too. I guess I don't know what you are looking for in a 14 year old singer. Whether you are aware of it or not she has a million to one voice. She may not have the biggest of ranges or has spectacular high notes. But I'd rather listen to her sing more than Ariana Grande or Mariah or Celine any time. So you can say whatever you will but how many14 year olds do you know can sing like her? Maybe one other and her name is Angelina Jordan.

Hi Guys, looking back at this reaction a few months later and I still think she was better than the marks given but thanks again for featuring this super talented teenager. For some reason, BP1 doesn't like Daneliya, nothing to do with her nasal voice, that's what really makes her sound nice and different from the rest of the singers.

She was very ill the day before the final Sia song and she had no time to rehearse and still she slays. She had no song choice in the later stages.

Hi guys wow, this very young lady is amazing, her voice is absolutely stunning, what more can one say. I’m on the 3rd performance and find her voice incredible, and she is so much more confident. 4th song, maybe because it’s one song straight after the other, they are all sounding the same, but still incredible. 5th the duet, was beautiful but, I think BP1 is right, the nasal thing made each song sound the same. An interesting comparison is to listen to the cover Daneliya did of Tears of Gold when she was back in Kazakhstan. Daneliya has a unique musical moan & superb whistle tone.

She sings a lot like Amy Lee. It takes a few times to listen to her then the nasal stuff and pronunciation goes away. Then the music becomes super addicting and you start noticing how great of a singer Amy (and Daneliya) is. That's when you start noticing all the nuances of her vocals and voice. Be careful here... You will start listening to this addicting voice all day and night.

Angelina Jordan did an abbreviated Til Tok cover of Sign of the Times--worth listening to.

Angelina Jordan may be a more talented artist, but I prefer Daneliya better. Basically, because I'm not that big of a fan of jazz. Deliberate or not, Angelina has a jazz style no matter what she sings.

*8.2* I agree with _everything_ BP1 said 😲 ! A commenter's already noted, the 'nasality' made the songs 'samey'. However, she gets more than 8.0 because IMO she'd sound better with songs that complement her voice more. Also, without improvement, she might fit into a girl band who'd share the load, allowing her to sing to her strengths. She could probably 'leather' _parts_ of an Adele song 'out of the park' by now.

@G Bulmer When played back to back like that it did stand out a little more. She has grown up a little now and we have heard her recent covers are better. ​@@feet_first Thank you for your recommendation. I listened twice to Daneliya, then Adele, then four or five times more to Daneliya. She is very good. I'll revise up to *8.5.* As usual, I closed my eyes when I first listen to a song; it helps me hear the music and voices better. If you hadn't told me her age, based on her voice, I'd have said teenager, under 18. Maybe 14-15, or a little older for someone with such a slight physical build? Her voice hasn't the richness of an older singer yet. However, that isn't her fault! She has a lot of physical changes to grow through, and improvement might just 'happen' anyway as she grows up. She did have a little of the odd 'nasal' quality still; I assume that's part of her technique. She seemed comfortable and relaxed in your 'Send my Love' live, outdoor performance. Impressive for a first solo concert, even ignoring her age at 12yo. I'm with BritPops; her stronger vocal range seems to be the bigger 'more dramatic' phrases. So I still feel sharing a song with others would allow her to 'play to her strengths'. She'd likely be the best singer in girl bands. She might duet with a male singer; her strengths would help her stay 'in the mix'. Edit: I liked her 'trouser suit' aesthetic; and not playing up to a 'candy box' child's appeal. Thoughtful. Classy. @@gbulmer That white suit is the one that she is wearing in the poster behind her on stage. This is a photo from her performance of "The Others" at the Kremlin during the Bravo Awards in 2018. Daneliya has sung two duets with males, "Señorita" with Fariz, and "Screaming" a Dimash song when she was 11. She also sang a song without any male, "I kissed a girl" All of these are worth a multiple listening. I agree 💯 that she has some specific nasal tone, but I think it maybe related to her English when converted from her Kazak native tongue. You should listen to Month of May, Trymai, Mama, and Je Veux in Russian, Ukrainian, Kazak and French respectively to see if it is present there! I am interested in your conclusion. These songs are on her KZread channel. Also listen to "A million voices" which she performed on stage in the Kremlin.

The nasality makes her voice unick, peasant to the ears and magnetises and drowses people to listen. Comparing Daneliya with all the other young singers she is 10/10 the others are Between 6/10 and Mabe Angelina is 8/10.

the nose thing you criticise Daneliya all the time it's what makes her better than the rest of the singers. It gives her individuality and makes her voice beautiful and warm. I am not sure about your knowledge of music and good singers though. you must be Angelina's fanatics. If you compare her with, Daneliya will blow Angelina out of the park on singing. You should give up scoring singers because you have no idea specially BP1.

I think you don’t understand the word ‘opinion’ every artist we come across will have a dedicated fan base because that is there preference, that’s all it is a preference, I am sure Floor, Angelina, Adele, pink, Sara James fans would all say they blow everyone else out the water.. you must understand that music is a preference and not a competition. Amira could win the greatest ever opera singer at age 12 or age 50 … but people won’t like it and say things … fact, like you don’t like our scoring but it’s a preference and fun. Knowledge of music is theory patterns etc… it doesn’t matter as individuals just have a preference… we know very little about music theory but we have ears and opinion and preference just like every other individual that exists :) …. That was quite different .. to me anyway .. she (Angelina) got a golden buzzer so she went straight to the finals. Because of that .. after she and her family chose not to sign the contract that one had to sign before being in the finals, where it says that if you win, you have to sign with one of Simon's recording companies .. (and it makes sense that there should be such a contract but they said no to signing it) .. so .. she was still asked to sing again but knowing she would not go to the top 5 or 3 or whatever it is. They also asked her to do one more song with the Russian sand Lady and that wonderful little boy violinist. At that point it was a win win for everyone. Angelina got to sing two more songs and Simon got the bonus of having her sing twice more and perhaps, in some way .. got credit for getting her going in the US. Who knows .. what I do know is Angelina, apart from her totally extraordinary voice, she affects people emotionally every time she sings and has a stunning presence. I think what Daneliya is lacking the likeability factor almost completely. I just watched her sing 4 songs and I have no clue who she is .. I know nothing about her so it's harder to care.

@@patriciasepulveda1264 An AGT producer tweeted that he had been trying to get Daneliya on AGT for 3 years before she finally said yes. Recruited talent do not get the standard contract. Concessions are made on both sides. It benefits both parties - AGT gets the talent to ensure the success of the show, the talent gets the desired exposure in the US. Someone else wins the "contest". That's how it works. It's not really a contest anyways - it's strictly an entertainment "show". Sofia Vegara stated in an interview that Daneliya would have been her golden buzzer if she hadn't already given it to someone else, or if she had an extra one to give. It worked out great though, as that allowed Daneliya to do extra performances. Angelina fans are very passionate about Angelina, and that's great, but I have the opposite opinion regarding the likability of the 2 girls. I don't see much personality from Angelina. I do really like her 2 most recent original songs - 7th Heaven and Million Miles, but the rest of her covers and such just don't do anything for me. Whereas, I am all in on Daneliya and have seen every video, every interview, heard every song, etc and think she is extraordinary in every way. Avid Daneliya fans say the exact same things about Daneliya that you are saying about Angelina. Not everyone is affected in the same way by the same artist, and I guess a lot of it has to do with how much you put into getting to know the artist. Both are supremely talented for sure, and I believe both will be at the top of their respective genres in the future.

I give 6 out of 10 for your reaction. Not sure why you are doing these reactions of you miss so much in the performance. Singing nasally? Nervous? Daneliya performed in far bigger venues before coming to AGT. She is a master of vibrato and you probably mistook it for a tremble in the voice? Do you think Daneliya (not Daniela) has 1.25 MILLION followers on her KZread channel because she does not know how to sing? Not surprising actually for a couple of "experts" giving such lukewarm reactions to Dimash... Dislike...
