Man, I bought a Danelectro bass over ten years ago. I wished it to be a bit more playable so I asked if they could adjust the neck in the store when I bought it - the clerk came back saying there wasn't much adjustment his tech could do without a truss rod. Because this video I just discovered it was located at the bottom! I just adjusted that bass for the first time since it left the factory, thanks!

Very helpful. I had a feeling this is how the truss rod was accessed but I was not positive. Nice tips on cleaning the fretboard as well. Thank you sir. Great video.

White vinegar is a good cleaner for the fretboard.

This is very helpful. I was wondering how to adjust the truss rod on my '63.

Same, I think I saw you mention your '98 Commie Red U2. I have not taken the neck off mine yet. I thought it didn't have a truss rod. I'll find out soon enough. Mine has four screws holding the neck. Looks like the one in the video is a new model.
