Step 1- start with warm, soapy water with a damp rag. This guitar needed a good bath.. The Goo-Gone is fine for the sticker adhesive. Step 2- I would have wiped the guitar down with either Naptha or Ronsonol lighter fluid to remove years of dust, polish and sweat. Step 3, buff 0000 steel wool on the fingerboard. Step 4- polish the frets. Step 5- oil the fingerboard. Step 6- Automotive scratch remover. Step 7- wax and polish with buffing wheel

Schecter guitar's are my favorite so far but haven't tried Paul Reed Smith yet. Easiest way to remove sticker's is Zippo lighter fluid that's at least a four hundred dollar guitar there. probably more than that new around 800$

Painter's Naptha, or White Gas, is like Zippo fuel but it is cheaper by the gallon.

now I’ve seen everything…a guitar that’s FIVE SERIAL NUMBERS away from George Harrison’s…people will do anything for that Beatles connection…I shook John Lennon’s hand in 1975 but I’ve washed it since. Peace

The jaguar is a great guitar, you need to know how to do a proper aet-up. First, don't put 9s on a Jag! They are a short 24in scale guitar that require a bigger guage than a strat or tele to get the same level of tension. 11s work well! Typically with 11s and a shim in the neck, you wont have those problems with buzzing amd strings popping out of the saddles. It is amazing how many guitar techs don't understand offset guitars.. They are amazing if you know how to set them up properly!

Double Humbuckers make a huge sound difference... And Donner has really came a long way over the years. If it was just looks I'd go for Firefly, but like the guy says, you can upgrade, and the baseline of the Donner is already so much better.

That is a genuine Danelectro reissue available in white, red, or black crackle finishes.. The Jerry Jones were copies of the original 60's Coral Sitar guitar. The Coral Sitar was made by Danelectro in collaboration with session player Vinnie Bell who wanted the sitar sound but couldn't play the real thing. The bridge follows the principle of the slightly curved, from front to back, bone bridge used on sitar and other related eastern instruments. The smaller sympathetic strings actually sound more like an autoharp harp and are usually tuned to a scale. Most players don't tend to use them. True sympathetic strings would have a much different arrangement in order to sound similar to those found on a sitar. It's a cool looking and instantly recognizable sounding instrument and has appeared on dozens of records. 🖖

Very interesting and pleased to say successful job. I have a Clifton Classical with the a similar problem. I have seen a video where the neck was sawn from the bottom up to the underside of the fingerboard. Then glued into place while loading the neck down to close the gap. It seems to have worked ok. I may try that method.

That looks like the Gibson that my grandfather owned. I know they made a lot of them. Every fret space on every string had indentions in the fretboard where he played it. My father unfortunately sold it in Memphis. Pissed me off. I was the only grandchild that actually played guitar and it broke my heart when I found out he sold it.
