SO true. It is not strength that provokes aggression, but weakness. As individuals, while keeping our serene demeanor, we need to be prepared to fight -- to fight dirty, even. As a nation, we need to be so powerful that no one would even think of attacking us. As one of my favorite T-shirts says, "Peace through superior firepower." I live in a beyond-woke city, and I just love to watch the squishy appeasers go nuts when they read it.

Better yet, find out who the Danes' enemies are, then pay *them* to deal with your Dane problem. Then raise your own force while they're busy, and take out both weakened tribes.

I like it. "Let's you and him fight." Then under your breath "Then when you've wasted each other, we'll pick up the pieces and crush the ones that don't want to be picked up".

Well and the solution of Rome and Byzantium. Probably others have tried the same.. Most of them arent around anymore and were both China, Rome and Byzantium were eventually overthrown by those they paid. Atleast in part.

Times show the truth. One used get wine and meat by sword do not use to plough the ground for dry bread and water. Wonderful song for listen and sing. But I am from Poland, 70 years ago we can no pay for life and not even die with honour? Where's the answer?

This was written in the political context of the conflicts that led to the Anglo-Boer war.
