After the Dance Play Love workshop in Bali with Kwenda Lima, I was excited to explore the town of Ubud a bit more. Just like I love dancing with my dogs at home (anything from a tango, cha cha cha, salsa, merengue, or whatever is playing) , I wanted to see if they monkeys would let me dance with them. In this video, you'll see how it turned out :). Perhaps it was because I was born in the year of the monkey that I love monkeys so much. I find them so irresistibly cute and could stare at them for hours. Here's a little from my visit to Monkey Forest in Ubud. If you get the chance to visit Ubud, you won't regret going to this place. It's a haven and paradise for monkeys and the people that visit. They monkeys were very relaxed and were incredibly friendly. If you do plan to bring bananas with you, I would avoid putting them in a plastic bag and carry a few in your pocket, and offer one at a time. Just remember to breathe in and out, and stay calm if one does happen to jump on your shoulders and take that banana out of your hand.
