FullEmo Opal Technically he did mean it because this song is basically taking place back around the time where western culture was mixing with Japanese culture, and Samurai were becoming less of a thing. Basically, if a Samurai couldn't get with the times or didn't want to chance his ways, he would kill himself but using his own sword to cut himself open and let his intestine fall out.

I feel like I'm going into a deep hole of memes. Just listening to the music its Happy, and very comedic. Yes the man is telling us to kill ourselves if we can't dance but this man has failed to get a woman, men probably steal those women from him and Dancing is probably a coping mechanism. So that's why he says "Eliminate the men who cant dance" as in pushing away the men who most likely steal his only chance of love.
