Thanks for reacting to BTS, though I hope you spend some time to get to know them individually, sorry but it's a bit unpleasent to hear you addressing them as "that guy" If it's not too much to ask please try to check their individual profile, there is this video "who is BTS the seven member of Bangtan boy" we can appreciate more of your reaction videos to BTS if you can identify them well. You don't need to upload your reaction to that video if you don't feel like doing it but at least watch it. I know that your reaction videos are more focus on the choreography and that is understandable☺☺

I think you'll really like Jimin's solo performance of "Lie" there is a practice video and the live version from the concerts. The way he interprets that song it's just so incredibly beautiful, maybe you wanna check that one out as well

I think J-Hope was the best🔥

My favorite member is Jimin! He's the one with the striped jumper and silver hair, and he's the main dancer (with j-hope, the other one with striped jumper but orangy hair), he's the one you noticed being in 5th position (actually a fun note: there's like plenty of photos of him standing in fifth, third of first position just casually lol) and the one that did the contemporary dance moves in Spring Day. I used to dance ballet years ago and as an ex-dancer he always fascinates me with his movements, delicacy, precision and expression.

yah, i did ballet for only 2 years when I was 8... And whenever i see Jimin i will immediately recognise his 3rd& 5th poisiton stance. I noticed that he is so used to these stance that he often is in 3rd & 5th positions even though he is not dancing :)

Jimin is the guy wearing a black & white shirt, he's one of the main dancer along with Jhope the guy in grey shirt. And yes, Jimin actually had a various training in popping and locking, ballet, street dancing, hiphop and contemporary dancing and even excelled and became the TOP student on that field. While Jhope has a great background on street dancing for several years before they have debuted. Please check and react to IDOL and FAKE LOVE dance practice and comeback stage performance.

The guy in the striped shirt (jimin) is a contemporary dancer/ also trained in hip hop dance (went to school for it) J-hope (in the gray shirt) he is a hip hop dancer (underground dancer) They've all been training to be dancers though and yes they practice daily for hours. Check out jimin - lie (he's a contemporary dancer) there's a Bangtan bomb with him dancing and also a live (Bangtan bomb jimin lie)

@lDaRkl lReVaNl - Jungkook actually only was in LA for around a month. He even did vlogs about his stay in LA. Totally not to take anything away from Jungkook especially considering, unlike Jimin & Hobi who both came from dance backgrounds, Jungkook learned to dance in only 2 1/2 years. To learn that fast is beyond amazing!

@Blackmane 13 : Jimin started out in hip-hop/street dancing and has dance battle experience wherein Jimin ranked #1 in Busan. When he went to school, he studied ballet, contemporary and traditional Korean dance; he was the top dancer in the dance department (as well as the top student and class president). Also, Jimin is so amazing with the stunts because of his martial arts background: black belt in taekwondo, at least eight years in kendo and trained in China as the only freshman in his school. Jimin is truly talented and versatile.

"That black and white guy" is first guy anybody noticed and his major was "Modern Dance" so it must be very first time for you to watch BTS film, right? That is "Jimin (pronounce Jim-in) anyway.

they rehearse 13 hours a day. If you notice one sings at a time. It helps them to be able to do their parts. Jimin is in the black & white shirt. You really need to watch the music video to Blood, Sweat & Tears.

The one in the black and white striped shirt is Park Jimin, the main dancer and lead vocalist of the group. 😍 Jimin does ballet, contemporary, hip-hop/street dancing, traditional Korean dancing and martial arts. 🤩 He's my favorite member and K-Pop performer. 💛

Some Facts about Park Jimin: (The guy in black & white shirt) Jimin trained in martial arts, like jungkook he also has a blackbelt in taekwondo (he said it in an interview when they were featured along with K-tigers)he also learned Geomdo (the way of the sword) for 7 to 8yrs. He used to dance popping when he was 14-15 years of age before he moved to Busan School of Arts. He was a class president for 9 yrs and a class valedictorian in Music department. The only student who received a sholarship for training in China. He was also good academically and an overall top1 in Math and Chemistry. He was professionally trained in ballet, contemporary, street dancing, traditional Korean dance and Hiphop. His expertise includes locking and popping. Jimin is expert when combining his different techniques from his different backgrounds. He has a great way to combine sharp dance move and fluidity that make him dancing more versatile than others. For me (my opinion) Jimin is the best dancer I ever knew, why I say this?? Many dancer can execute movements well but most have difficulties in bringing emotions like jimin does to the dance. His facial expression to interpretate music, creativity and his great musicality (even Jenny Kita/ Brian Puspos and other great choreographer and dancer praised jimin of having a great musicality and body control. You can see how he incorporate his skills in contemporary and popping/locking on his LIE choreography which was very impressive because it's not easy to switch moves at different types as it needs to put every single muscle to work, this requires body control which is one of Jimin's great ability. Jhope is also a best dancer his great background specifically on street dancing and freestyle is really impressive.The reason why I prefer Jimin because he have more things to judge and more dancing skills and his versatility and technique in combining it.

Jimin and Hoseok (J-HOPE) are the two in lighter shirts. They were dancers before they joined BTS. You should watch/react to some of Jimin’s old dance videos from before BTS! He was trained in modern dance and extremely talented, and J-HOPE was a street dancer. And I agree that I see a lot of Michael Jackson influence in their choreography.

Jimin 😻😻😻

Yes Jimin is a contemporary dancer, J-Hope is a hip-hop dancer from the streets and also went to school and Jungkook (all three you mentioned) is the baby and Jk came to America to learn to dance here at one of the Dance Academies in CA. The other 4 learned to dance thru the choreographer and the 3 members I mentioned mostly the oldest J-Hope helps to teach the members individual dance moves.

Technically he’s not a professional dancer.. he’s a professional singer. But he is a dancer. I feel like to be a pro dancer your main job has to be dancer and dancing is just a byproduct of his, not the focus.

@marigam - Actually a Jimin was already performing on stages in Busan first while attending Just Dance Academy in Busan where he studied hip hop, popping, & street dance, and then performing more contemporary when media even called Jimin "the rising star of Busan". Jimin even had an oversees offer to dance. When Jimin decided to go to Seoul to audition for BigHit instead, because he also wanted to be a vocalist, an instructor actually commented that the world of dance was going to lose a great artist! Since he was still quite young just barely 17 maybe not calling him 'professional' but he was already acknowledged as a great dancer and did already perform.

@@marigam incase of vocals jimin has a higher range but less stability in his voice so it's most likely to crack. In case of dancing jimin has more fluidity and knowledge about dance in the whole group. Jimin studied a variety of dance genres

Abbiea123 If he was still a student while doing those performances then he wasn’t a “professional”. He essentially gave UP the offers to dance professionally to become a singer. Ji- Jams I don’t think that matters. Just because he’s not the ultimate BEST at something doesn’t make him not a professional singer. Example, not everyone can sing like Adele but that doesn’t mean no one but Adele is a singer. Anyways, his stability is already amazing. He’s above MANY in that regard. It just so happens that Jungkook is a BeASt so Jimin seems to lack in comparison. That doesn’t make him any less if a singer and many would prefer his vocals if they had to choose. Thankfully we don’t have to choose 😁😁

@marigam - Actually the concert performance was separate from school but since he was still between 16-17 yes he was still a student going to Busan High School of the Arts. You do know that dancers no matter how old if how professional still take classes either to freshen up or continually learn something new. One can still be a student & perform. During a concert performance in Busan the media wrote of about Jimin calling him "The Rising Star of Busan". But I guess since he was still a student full time as well he wouldn't be considered 'professional' Kookie was also a student as well as Tae & Jimin even while they debuted.But in the long run does this even matter. Lol.

jimin really owned this dance and era. he is such a beautiful dancer

My favourite is jhope the guy who mostly controls the group in parts of the dances .. hes the main dancer

as a fellow dancer, one of my favorite things to watch is other dancers analyze bts dance practices. they're SO good and so entertaining to watch. their formations are some of my favorite things

Suga is my fav member, he is a God at rap and he can dance quite good. I love BTS!!!!!!

Yeah so the reason why they cover the eyes an stuff, is cause bts always have a story in their mv, so it translates through their dance as well!!!

Well, Blood, Sweat, & Tears (피땀는물), as well as the whole era, was about when one falls into temptation from the different attractions and forces of corruption in life. Also relating to storyline-wise, many times the chore depicts the members having their solo points but can be interpreted in how they are different and conflicting when apart but when together it’s in unison. Some say this was pretty sensual of a choreo and performance from them when they came back with it but I think that plays with lust as a temptation as well. Overall, it’s one of their best comebacks to date and really got their name out there even further in 2016

They made both of those videos back in 2016....also during that time jimin (wearing the black & white strip shirt) was going through a tough strict diet that all of fans don’t know about. I myself don’t remember the fully story behind it, he felt that he was too fat/cubby or something like and that he needed to work hard extremely hard to maintain an idol body.

J-Hope (the guy in the grey shirt) used to be part of a dance crew that was locally famous and won competitions. So he was a street dancer. Jimin (the guy in the striped shirt) was a top student in contemporary dance. He was so good his dance teacher sponsored him when his family didn't have enough money to pay his fees. That teacher was the one who told him to audition for Big Hit and that's how he became a member of BTS.

You can tell that she is mainly a ballet teacher and I'm a dancer too but I mainly do the hip hop and commercial side. I'm almost a professional dancer and personally I feel like bts' movement quality is very good and very precise and clean. One critique I have is actually the performance, they were very clean but they need to be more powerful whenever there arent any lyrics as I do know that singing while dancing is hard as hell. Also the handstand into the press up is called a dolphin dive. And yes I can confirm that training all day does HURT ALOT 😂. But she made some great points here 😂👍.

It was JUNGKOOK also known as JK or Kookie who did the handstand (youngest member, main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper, center of the group). He called the Golden Maknae (youngest in Korean) because he is good at everything.

The other guy in the gray shirt (orangey lookin hair) was actually a famous street dancer in Korea for 10 years before he joined BTS.

Two of them are professional dancers J-hope - street dance/hiphop his a former member of neuron a dance crew/group from his town, Jimin- top student in his art school studied ballet/modern/contemporary dance and his the one you said that you like when he grind😅😂 on the floor wear a black and white stripped top from the dance practice But not all of them are proffessional dancer their awesome dancer and awesome guys 😍😍😍. Love your reaction vid 💜

how tf does anyone not get blessed by jimin;s sexiness everywhere everyday-

BTS is known for their pop and lock choreography. they always kill their performance. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS! fyi, it was Jimin who's wearing black and white in their dance practice and he's the contemporary dancer while Jungkook did the handstand.

Blood, Sweat and Tears is all about temptation and the dance reflects that. And, in Kpop, the members constantly change positions because the one in the center is the member who is singing or rapping. So, there's a constant flow of transitions.

I liked how she said, "Wow" when Jungkook humped the floor xDDD Oh, and, my bias is Suga, because I respect him a lot and can relate to him. Also, his tongue technology is fire. And yes, BTS practice about 12 hours a day on choreos and steadying their breathing while dancing. At concerts, they do about a total of 22 songs in all, singing live, and dancing.

A little more about Jimin. I'm not sure at what age he started formal dance training, but there are videos of him doing some popping and locking as a 12 or 13 yr. old when he was in Middle School/Jr. HIgh. He then went to the Busan High School for the Arts and continued to study contemporary, and he was known as the top student in the department (in dance and in academics, I believe.) Then at age 16 he auditioned to join BigHit and moved to Seoul to join BTS. He's said he hasn't really had an opportunity to study contemporary since then, but much of his training is still ingrained in him. Even in casual situations he is frequently seen standing in a relaxed/slightly modified 1st or 3rd position. I've heard other dancers comment that he's got an excellent turn-out. He actually had a hard time when he joined BTS--he's said his contemporary training made it difficult for him to quickly pick up the hip-hop choreo (their earlier songs and choreo were MUCH more heavily influenced by hip-hop.) As they grew musically and started branching out into different genres, their choreo changed with them, and Jimin has had the chance to really shine in some pieces that incorporate a bit of jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. He's one of the best poppers in the group, and also has amazing body waves and body rolls. They all work hard and are amazing dancers, but my eye is always drawn to Jimin first.

Jhope (in the gray shirt) - he was in a dance group back then and he is known as a famous street dancer in his hometown Jungkook (one who did the handstand) - he really loves dancing since he was young but their ceo said he lacked emotions while dancing so their ceo decided to send him to US to do lessons Jimin (in the black and white shirt)- this man was a contemporary dancer back in highschool, he was really good that his teacher asked him for a scholarship

I'm glad you seemed to enjoy this last 2 videos of BTS better you seemed kinda annoyed in the older videos :') My favourite member is Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D. He's one of the rappers, he's the first one who raps in this song at 9:17 ^^ If you were interested could you also react to dance practice of "danger", "we are bulletproof pt 2" and "boy in luv" by BTS too? Purple you ^^~💜

They can sing and dance at the same time b-coz they've been trained really well and they have a lot of stamina and the they take a lot of big breaths

Since you are a dancer I guess you'll be interested to read this some analysis to one of their main dancer Park Jimin. Jimin is a student of many different styles which means he was exposed to different techniques and theories on how to use the music. -Ballet teaches dancers to use every single note of the music. You should never not be moving. You should not arrive at your destination too quickly and be stuck until you can move to the next step. Everything should be fluid and smooth, one move to another. -Street styles, particularly popping, teach dancers to use the beats to increase the effect of each move. The impact of each hit will be amplified if it is timed to coincide with the hard hitting beats. -Jimin has managed to combine these two theories in the most beautiful way possible - he draws out the music between counts and then emphasizes beats with sharp moves. -Jimin uses a lot of tension in his movements, as if the very air is resisting him. He milks every note before snapping into place on certain beats for emphasis. -To get the best effect, Jimin plays with the timing of the music itself and the speed of his own movements. This can only be done by someone with an ear for the music and an extreme control over his own body. -Instead of dancing everything at the same pace, JIMIN is extremely adept at switching from fast to slow and back to fast in the blink of an eye. This means he can draw movements out, emphasizing them in excruciating detail, before speeding up and catching up to the beat again. -Jimin’s switching speeds add a lot of dynamic to his dancing and allow him to showcase certain moves with more power and precision. -It’s been noted that Jimin often looks behind the music when compared to other dancers, but when you watch him individually, he’s perfectly on time. What you’re witnessing is not actually lateness, but the genius of his style. -Without an innate sense of timing and musicality, Jimin would never have been able to pull off the incredible displays of partner work he’s shown where he couldn’t see and had to rely on his ears alone. -There is no right or wrong way to interpret music, but there are different techniques to give different parts more impact. Every details of Jimin’s dance skill are on points. Some ppl said he was a slight late on some performance, but I always said that it was not him late it is because others were not on the music counts. I love watching Jimin’s dance, sometimes it is unfair to other members because I could not 'move my eyes off Jimin only watch him

@@ctfunone1 there was actually a video on that analysis wherein Jimin danced along with taemin during the SBS 2016 dance showdown. People thought that Jimin was dancing left behind with taemin, but when you watched them dancing it in solo, (just remove taemin on the frame) then you will realize that he just executed every dance moves at the exact beat, he was in fact in the proper timing..this is why some proffesionals always remarked Jimin of having a great musicality, he knows how to listen to the music and feel it's rythm then associate every beat of the song into his dance moves.
