It would be better you go to their concert or get a headphone listen to their live performance (recommend JUMF 2017 rock festival, they are the only group invited)

Yes, the thing about DC choreos I think about a lot is this: usually in K-pop, so influenced by hip-hop, EDM and pop in electronic music, choreos sort of stick to the beats, but as a rock flavored music is not beat-centric, but melodic, they need to translate all that melody into moves and formations, but they also make like some sort of "movement narrative" that includes not only beats but melodies and the actual meaning of the songs. Check Wind Blows, for example. The movements and formations, are like the flow of the wind or they use their arms a lot and that's like a reference of our relationship with the wind. They do all that with an unbelievable synchronization. I recommend you to check the Deja Vu choreo too, cause it is amazingly beautiful. Deja Vu is a complete masterpiece.

"movement narrative" is a good way to put it. Many groups use complicated transitions once in a while, but our girls do it in ALL their choreos. There are always complicated transitions going on. It's always such a treat to watch.

When I watch them dance I get the same feeling as watching a big flock of small birds flying as though they have one mind. It's a kind of awe that many can move as one. You're right about the backup dancers, they are very skilled and I'm always happy to see them with Dreamcatcher. The life of a backup dancer in Korea is not easy especially because they're looked down upon as people just not quite good enough to be in an idol group.

You said it’s the year dreams come true and they did!! Dreamcatcher got their first win!! 🥳

Also, the word for the choreography part where there is a wave choreo is called, “domino effect.” Loving that part too🥰

Full moon is a great one, chase me, their older headliners were great. They're constantly evolving, but everything they do is great. The older choreo seemed more technically proficient, but the new stuff is really creative, and artistically evocative.

I've been working my through all your DC content, love it by the way. I noticed that during 'You and I' you got excited for them doing a tiny bit of tutting. If you like that kind of thing you should definitely check out the dance practice for 'Good Night', they do a lot of it for the intro.

you mentioned the backup dancers. If you watch the Bocca part switch video you will see that even the backup dancers switched parts. I didn't realize it until I noticed the ones working the flags were having a hard time. Their dancers are pure gold.

If you are into synchronized dancing, you should check out Gfriend. To get you started, for their early stuff, I recommend "Mi Gustas Tu." For their mid-career stuff, I recommend "Time for the Moonlight." And for their late stuff, I recommend "Mago." Then watch their double speed and blindfold versions.

Dreamcatcher kicks SO much ass, and their choreo is INSANELY good

The frame by sticks is symbolize to mouth as chinese character. Chinese character 口 is meaning mouth. From ancient of Korea, korean using chinese character for doucmetation. And The Great King Sejong invent Hangul for ordinary korean at year 1443. Now korea doesn't using chines character in daily life, but quite a few Koreans still know basic Chinese characters. Besides, Korea and China pronounce the same Chinese character differently. At the beginning of the 'Odd eye' choreography, I think the shape of the members sitting and standing up symbolizes the lotus flower. In East Asia, especially Buddhism, the lotus flower symbolizes the birth of the Buddha. And the choreography changes into the shape of an eye. I think it means "Buddha (The Truth) is in your heart". In East Asia, Buddhism is incorporated into everyday life much more than you think.

What a great first video for this year! Dreamcatcher choreography always hits different :D As you said already, how synchronized they are is just beautiful to behold. I also really love to see how they move from formation to formation, no one is standing on the same spot for more than a few seconds and everyone gets their time upfront and in the center. As for Wind Blows, there is no MV for it, so the dance video is the next best thing. Its their hardest "recent" choreography. If you want something a little different I would definitely recommend checking some of their relay dances, no one does relay dances quite like Dreamcatcher. Great reaction! As far as the sound cutting out intermittently, I have a few guesses about that problem. Simple stuff first: Try restarting your computer before you film a reaction (no, I do not mean 'turn it off, wait ten seconds, turn it back on'; there is a function to restart without touching the actual power button). Reset your router and/or modem after the computer is restarted and ready (might have to give it a few minutes to finish the restart before resetting the router or modem). After resetting, it might even take a few more minutes. Or maybe your internet is just crap (that's not your fault, though; we can't be mad if you live in a place that gets crappy service). Or (and this might be the expensive part), one or both of your Audio card or your Capture card could be going bad (I would say check the Audio card first). It happens; all electronic pieces go bad after some amount of time and the more over-worked they are, the faster they degrade. And of course the last one, worst-case scenario (but I am sure you would know this by now on your own), you need a new computer. Luv ya!
