Hustle whips are awesome in West Coast Swing and this is a great variation to mix it up! Plus, the wrap at the end offers so many alternative exits you can do.

This is a simple hustle whip back to back into a wrap.
There are three key moments to learn in this movement, so keep these in mind as you take it to the dance floor.
1. For a hustle whip a nice entry is to catch the follower on the back of their shoulder and trace down their arm into a comfortable hand hold. As your partners become more advanced you can later catch their hand directly.
2. Leaders, your right hand will be the primary hand you’re leading the rotation with but you can lead this with a very light connection. When you play with this pattern in the wild, you might find some followers are unfamiliar with this rotation and feel like you’re leading a hammerlock - if they do they might turn their arm the opposite way. I’ve had this happen with a few followers so be prepared to let go of their hand to avoid injury.
3. Finally, as you wrap your follower and travel around them, be ready to counter balance them if they decide to use counterbalance technique.
