West Coast Swing Love Languages (Feat. ROBERT ROYSTON) | The Art Of Partner Dancing in WCS

Музыка

West Coast Swing love languages?? WHAT??? 🤯
I recently heard Robert Royston speak on the Nerdy WCS podcast about dance love languages and how he tailors his dancing to suit his follower. He does this in order to speak the language of dance with his dance partners.
Discovering your dance partners love language and how they love to dance and move is an important skill to learn if you want to be great at West Coast Swing.
His love language comment dovetailed into the slides workshops J'Em taught and helped me make sense of WCS styles and how every one of us has our own preferences when we dance. Not to mention, how and why teachers teach the way they do.
These Champions sharing their experience definitely helps me (and I'm sure others) a lot, so I figured I'd share my thoughts with you, while showing another training video where I critique my own movement/partnership - the good, and the terrible!
Till next time, keep dancing! 🖤

Hi William, I created an earlier video breaking down the Pipes, Slides and Ocean techniques that JEM teach here; kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4OFxMafYqzRmJs.htmlsi=VlahxMo-5_jjK0cu - hope that helps clarify it for you! Thanks for watching :)
