Today is the date of drummer Paul Motian's birth. Absolutely one of my favorite musicians, I always included a number of Paul's compositions in my different bands over the years. This group, SWANS TRIO, is maybe my favorite of them all, with the amazing Reuben Radding at the top of his game on bass and the stellar drummer Todd Capp driving the music forward and upward..
