I love the way you teach. It's so clear and smooth. I also group variations of moves as families--because everyone should develop their own combinations and patterns with each parent move, and try several different variations to see what they like best. In country dance everyone is so focused on the combinations they learn in class or from videos; but what I say is to really DANCE and be able to respond to your partner, you need to be solid in your technique and flexible in your planning.

I have 2 questions for you, Nery. Do you ship to Canada? And are these videos good for intermediates (though I do like working on my fundamentals as well). Is there "stationary" moves (e.g.. Spins with hand illusions) to flesh out my dance so its not always Cbl move after Cbl move? P.s I love your style

The biggest problem I faced in 360 is that the ladies do no try to go back to their line. They also try to turn on the spot which does not create rubber like connection. The move is easy when lady is ready to turn back to her position on other side.

Yes that is why I created this Tutorial because both the lead and follow need to learn their proper placement on their footwork and weight change. In my Usb we explain the moves for both (lead & follow) so it becomes easier to understand each other on the dance floor. Once we both learn the proper way of doing the 360 that is when you get that rubber effect. Hope this helps and thank you for all the support.

I did have that same problem. That is why I decided to learn how to also dance on2 so I could dance all the dances. Plus it makes you just a more well rounded dancer. So my advance is when you are very comfortable with your ON1 then jump into learning how to dance it ON2. Hope this helps my friend.

I had the same issues. It wasn't until I took a step back and asked myself why almost all of the really talented dancers I asked to dance preferred On2. So I dug deeper. I'm not your instructor so I'll spare you the lesson on what I found 😂. But, the reasons are tangible. It was hard to retrain myself but absolutely worth the work. Now at a congress, when I ask a rockstar follow to dance, I always start On2 and I always get a huge smile. Vale la pena!!!!

That short haired girl is the best salsa dancer I have seen.

@@antonio17252000, I dislike Salsa because I normally don't hear the rhythm, and dancers seem moving their bodies randomly. Songs that are used in classes are easy to dance to, but songs played in clubs are horrible. I prefer Bachata, especially combined with elements from Sensual Bachata.

What about if the girl is taller than me? She is 6ft tall I'm 4'-2" ?

I would love that as well lol. I'm 5'7 but I have some deceptive t rex action. Certain moves just aren't comfortable for me or I can't clear the follows head (or certain hand tosses make basically rub up against them in a way I don't like). Taller people always telling my height doesn't matter but I'm fairly certain it does in some situations.

I was thinking the same. They teach crossbody on1 and dance on1, then later in the video they finally dances on2...which looks and feel much better to that song. Think I would prefer a different song to teach on1. If people really want to look smoother I think on2 is better, but its all about the music.
