just an opinion. It's more like she was exclaiming because of what the mother was saying. I guess Abby was annoyed by the fact that the mom won't shut up about her daughter being in the pyramid. Abby has to also show that shes the boss in some way, i guess. She cant show weakness. BUT for the mom, shes just being supportive of her daughter even though it means acting mean to others. Can we talk about Jojo’s mom? She handled the situation perfectly calm and civil and properly thought Jojo not only to be the bigger person, but how. In this scene she was a great mother, way better than other scene I have seen in this show. There was no yelling back, or unnecessary 10min+ drama. Jojo also acted very mature and I’m glad she stood up for herself!

@@californiadoll6273 except it literally was, if you check on any of the girls that were on dance moms almost all of them feel the consequences of the treatment abby was giving them. it's not just yelling, the one in the video wasn't even close to her worst moments, abby was yelling at these little girls for no reason a lot of the times by picking at what ahe knew were their biggest insecurities. she took out anger she had towards some moms on the kids, talked about and dug at their personal lives and parents' issues and at some point mocked one of the girls' medical condition (which she even got surgery for, to the point it was the reason she and her mom left for good). dance teachers are harsh and yell a lot but even the worst I've seen weren't on her level

DeemaM if you “defend yourself” to a casting director when working professionally, they will fire you on the spot and you won’t get hired again. People talk and infectious opinions spread like wildfire in the industry. She is preparing them to work professionally. When you do, you deliver immediate satisfactory results and keep your mouth shut. You’re in control of how you are treated. When JoJo talked back, she chose to be removed from the room. Period

@@christophergibbons2579 thank you for explaining. Everyone else commenting on these doesn't seem to understand how it works in the real world. While yes this is a show, the things Abby talks about and teaches are very real and very true to how she explains it. Abby honestly was just trying to raise professionals, and if people think she was mean they are in a rude awakening if they ever try to audition for anything. Honestly Abby (while there was definitely some crazy stuff she pulled and said before) was the perfect coach for getting kids prepared to be professionals.

Ik JoJo is a... questionable person now, but for Abby to scold her like that and then immediately say "I want no crying children" kinda shows how bad she is with understanding that kids aren't always gonna be 100% perfect with anything.
