Bro those low vocals from Andrew at 7:45 gave me chills, what a man.

Let's be honest... They're only gonna be a four piece until Eidolas hiatus starts after they wrap up touring for their upcoming album in the fall. By this time next year, sergio will officially be named as bassist, and if andrew does indeed decide to stay as clean vocalist, rather than shifting back to guitars, theyll probably just bring martin back, given that hes friends and collaborators with the band already, and will be going back on tour this fall to handle guitars while andrew sings.

With all due respect, Eidola’s new album is amazing. I wouldn’t be surprised if they continue with making both work for awhile.

​@@MagneticKnives I agree about the new album. I simply mean that the hiatus is something Eidola brought up. Andrew has stated such. They made a double album, with Eviscerate being part 1 and a new album called Mend coming out this fall, and that the band would then go on hiatus to give them more time to work on other projects, and to have a new album trilogy already mapped out when they come back.

Will Is pulling double with DGD and Royal Coda, Sergio is pulling triple with DGD Royal and Eidola, and considering they have a record in the works Andrew is pulling double with DGD and Eidola as well. So I seriously doubt a hiatus would happen

Not only is Sergio the guitarist in Eidola, but he's been the touring bassist for DGD since Tim's passing.

Great songs, nothing too special just great songs. My first thought with tilian leaving was if Andrew would be able to sing all of the older songs by himself. Andrew can’t reach tilians vocal range, so I’m wondering if they are gonna bring in another high registered vocalist. I did see Andrew live when I saw them a few years ago when tilian was sick and he was good.

I saw him not to long ago leading dgd, and he is able to do all of the older material just fine 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 with all the vocal training he has gotten he is superb

Apparently andrew had to have vocal surgery after the afterburner tour, and was still recovering during the night with friends tour. He's also been doing some work with a vocal coach for his highs to help do tilians parts.

@@zaxzumu4605 makes sense. I saw them on the afterburner tour and tilian had Covid and Andrew did leads and he was phenomenal. I’ve got faith in him, he’s a beast!

It could be worse...they could go back to the Kurt Travis era... But this is one of those things where they're doing the best they could possibly do here but it's like having a puzzle and making all of the pieces of the puzzle that you have as perfect as you possibly could but at the end of the day, you still have a glamorous looking puzzle with one noticable piece missing. Hope Tilian finds his way back to this band at some point. This was such a curb to the best 4 album streak of their career.

Andrew did a good job on these but I'm really yearning for either jonny or someone new behind the mic
