Just know that you're never alone and are in fact part of a large group of people that would love to take the time to talk with you whenever things get difficult. 1 week update I got food poisoning 2 days after the album dropped. Grody ass shigilla 🙄 THE WORST. pain. ever. anyways I obviously haven't stopped smoking weed cause I'm still sick af and my states opening again as of yesterday. Idk what that means for court yet. I fear Iv run out of time, my sobriety date was supposed to be 4/28. I'll be happy if I get 5/4/20 down. Maybe the covid test will come back positive tomorrow and I'll have won the lottery, CDC already called me once trying to figure out how the hell shigilla popped up during a pandimic of hand washing! I feel like I'm out alone here, but I think most singers, Johnny included, sound really boring in the mix with Tilian and Jon and the general DGD sound. It's like, here's this amazing, unique blend of styles and tones, and then here's some generic ass singer. Honestly it just feels like it degrades the whole section of the song.

This song kind of saved my life. During fall 2020, the initial parts of my separation from my wife that would lead to our divorce, I was having a rough time. I would take my daughter to parks and stare at her running around realizing just how shitty our life was becoming. I put my headphones in and listened to this song. It was cathartic hearing a bit of nihilism about how the world is so messed up and that sometimes you need to let go so you don't get stuck. I think for months this gave me the strength to move on. Thanks DGD, you made a difference.

They have banjos in several of their songs already. Lyrics lie, Prisoner, Calamiento Global are three that I can think of on the top of my head. They are quite subtle though in case you try to find them.

Jon is really underappreciated for his distorted singing all over this album, most notably here, Parody Catharsis, and Strawberry's Wake

DGD is ky 10yo son's favorite band since he was about 7. I bought him merch, so proud. I love when he tells me something about them i already know, with his eyes shining. My 3yo daughter loves them too, but i honestly expect that to change when she finds pop/hip hop/all manner of garbage. I will cherish the remaining time we can all enjoy their music until then. Another one is baking, too, and i hope it loves them as much as we do. I found DGD back in their beginning when MySpace was big and bands promoted themselves there. Life is wondrous.

Perfect combination Tillian + Johnny Franck

I know there are a few elephants in the room to address (Johnny Franck, Will's Rap) but I just gotta say, this is overall one of Tilian's more angelic performances that he's put out. This, Parallels, and Lyrics Lie are definitely making their way into my top 10 DGD songs
