There was the laptop thinh and he's also been a mega douche lately with the controversy stuff going on with his gf so I wouldn't be surprised if the band tries to distance themselves from his name. Who knows though. We all love how close DGD is with all their ex-bandmembers so I hope everything's good regardless

The nostalgia to my highschool days as soon as tilian sang it was great, but then I listened to the rest of the lyrics and it almost sounds like he's calling Tides of Man out for when/how he left. Idk, could just be in my head

Jon's lyrics are so obvious towards Jonny, but I think you can interpret some Tillian's lyrics too

This might be one of the most straight forward DGD songs in recent memory. Allusions to "Knowing" from Tides of Man and Jonny Craig's time in DGD/MacBook scam. Shade!

This song has such an interesting character. It feels more fresh, and a little less familiar. Definitely an outlier from the other singles in terms of predictability. Other songs are still bangers though. You can't go wrong with a DGD song.

He got kicked out for auditioning for a spot in a Saosin. Quote: "For the record, I didn’t quit Tides Of Man. I expressed interest in pursuing the open spot in Saosin to the guys in Tides. The reactions were mixed, and I got kicked out of the band. They didn’t want a singer/leader to be in the band with that kind of doubt in his mind. Though I don’t like it, I respect their decision. In a more perfect world I would have had full trust and support from my friends in Tides and would’ve been able to pursue the open spot in Saosin, and possibly stay in both bands (this all would depend on whether it even worked out with Saosin in the first place)."

Trisha K it’s more common than you know. Will Swan Jon Mess Donovan Melero Kurt Travis and Anthony Green are all in different bands. Bands like Circa Survive, A Lot Like Birds, Hail the Sun, Sianvar, Royal Coda, Stolas, Nova Charisma wouldn’t exist if all bands had that mindset.
