(And they would follow you home)
(Until we wind up dead)
(Checking your pulse)
(We'd wait across the street)
(Under our tree)
(Outside the front door)
(In autumn's blind embrace)
(But you wouldn't let her anyway and we run)
(And we framed...)
(These moments)
Today your dream is dead
('Till one remaining cold calculated thought)
And when you wake it won't be there
('Till one remaining cold calculated thought)
Today your dream is dead
('Till one remaining cold calculated thought)
And sew that smile up with threads
('Till one remaining cold calculated thought)
Embrace this hope
And let it flow
You failed it
To shy to know your worth
Hurt from insensitive behavior
You're scared of what this really is
And where this might lead us next
And don't let me go, well I feel it
And don't let me go...
(It grabbed us by the throat, and we continue to breathe)
It's how I feel about love
That it's not worth it
(It grabbed us by the throat, and we continue to breathe)
It's how I feel about love
(Your license)
In failure dreams fall
Pushing nightmares over pavement
Walking these streets like a victim
Writing death threats in the wet cement
You say that I will lie
And let me win this life
You won't regret my love
(It grabbed us by the throat, and we continue to breathe)
It's how I feel about love
That it's not worth it
(It grabbed us by the throat, and we continue to breathe)
It's how I feel about love
(Your license)
My heart wants to
Make you happy at your best
You'd noticed all of this meaningless
I destroy you, even through,
The only things that I have left for your...
Condescending eyes, looking at each other's
White lies, my heart ache is useless...
So quickly we'll address the shadows running
from light, it'll take this breathe
Denying what is left of us
And if you could just wake up tonight
I'd be with you under this sky with you tonight

I don't think many people really understand how real and emotional this sing is. In my opinion this is DGD's masterpiece. You can tell Jonny is putting his whole heart until every line sung in this song. And the whole part from 3:35 to the end is just incredible. It's like the song has become something much more than just a song because of the emotion and feelings put into it, you feel as if Jonny IS the song, not just a vocalist singing it. Shit, people don't know how incredible this truly is.

Okay. We get it guys. Jonny is great. But holy fuck. Matt Mingus (the drummer) was only 15 or 16 when this was recorded. What pure talent. And the screamer Jon Mess? The way he makes the lyrics to pt. 2 relate with this is pure art. Get off Jonny's dick and appreciate the other 5 dudes who helped make this great music. Eric Lodge on bass. Will Swan on guitar. Jonny is my favorite singer, but he is not what makes this band. Fucking A. xD

This IS "Dance Gavin Dance". After Kurt joined, and then after Tilian joined, they should've renamed the band to "Still Dance Gavin Dance but like... its some new shit"

jonny craig brought soul to this band which is what made me love ite in the first place. tilian put an awesome "funk core" feel to it and i love that too. they're all good in they're own way.
