If you meet Mr Danton he is at once more interested in you and your life than he feels you could possibly be in him and his. Modest, funny, flirtatious, handsome and simply an exceptional human being. It is surely time he was properly honoured by this country.

Absolutely! He was SO strikingly handsome and talented!
61 year old dancer here....he is so right.....having a positive attitude is everything. We all have every reason to be depressed out of our minds, but the happiest people manage to put a positive spin on it all.
This old man's posture is amazing.

His Hair is awesome.
Congratulations Henry! You're an inspiration! I'm a 70-year-old dancer with the profound belief that living through one's passion keeps us kicking up a storm!! You're a true role model!
98 can a wonderful time! My Grandma lived to 104.
Good for you. Absolutely brilliant, as the Brits say.
Best arabesque I ever had was in his classes. Amazing opportunity.
This man, and many elderly people are the real marvels to me. The ones that saw the unparalelled advances of the last 100 yrs. Social truths and true history is told this way and passed down..... or at least thsts how its been done for eons.. until now.

My Grandparents were my heroes...sharing their memories, stories, hard times, their accomplishments, and most of all, their wisdom and sage advice. I miss them terribly. 🧡
Love this legend!! How wonderful to be able to make this video! Wish I was still dancing with Mr. Danton!!
Well, Henry Danton, you certainly are a very impressive gentleman. Thank you for sharing your life and I wish you many more happy and healthy years 🦋🦋🦋🦋
Mr .Danton is my inspiration !
I studied with him in 1974 in Panama. A great man.
What a lovely man! It would be an honor to meet him!
I also started dancing at age 21. 71 now and still taking dance classes and performing in my community. So grateful for good health and the joy that dancing brings me! its inspiring that Mr. Danton continues to enjoy dance at 98!! Definitely agree about having a positive attitude! Sure seems like a sweetheart!
*Love his spirit! Thanks for sharing!* 🕺🏽
You remind me of my teacher who danced into his nineties ....he was also 9f7rom England and I his later years taught at our University as well..Mr. Jack Bickle was a wonderful man and I was blessed to be taught by him .....you are so like him Sir ❗🩰❤
His smile has made me happy .😊
He is one of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met. He would come to our performances at Belhaven University when I was a student there, and he was always so supportive of all the dancers!
What a Gorgeous young Man!
He looks much younger than 98. His photos show very good form for a dancer who started later at age 21. Wow!
Every so often you come across the most amazing people and the more you look the more you see them. How lovely 😍
wow!!!! Amazing
I agree with what he says about changing habits. I'll be 61 in one month. At age 54 I became vegan. When I was growing up, ate what was put in front of me and had no real knowledge about food. Neither did my parents. Now, with the internet, I have done so much research and feel so much better on a vegan diet.
Amazing !!!

Ballet makes you use all parts of the brain, like Piano. That’s why.

👏👏 A ballet instructor at 98 ?
How depressing. I’m 44 and already facing not being able to work due to rare disease. I can really see how much I’m going to be missing out on life. At 49 he got real sick and was able to turn things around. There’s hope. You never know. Maybe my life is not over.

Gloria, I have Ehlers Danlos, chronic severe pain. Your life is not over until you allow your brain to tell you so….attitude is everything. Fight!

There are always things to be grateful for, I also have a chronic disease, but I do things anyway, it's all about making yourself feel at ease

@@marys3127 I have EDS too. Please don’t assume I have not been fighting. I have been fighting for 5 years to keep working. I don’t have it in me anymore and things have progressed too much, too many more diseases. I’m going to loose my house and everything. I don’t have anyone to support me. I have no money left. I’m loosing everything. I have had a very successful career of over 25 years. I have put everything into my career and it has been my life. To walk away from that, it feels like life is over. I have only focused on one thing in life and that is my career. I have nothing else in my life really but my career. I don’t know how I am going to be able to afford to live. This is a very scary change in my life.

@@Catwoman1464 what do you mean by making yourself feel at ease? Doing calming things? Doing less in life to manage your illness? I’m incredibly anxious because of everything I’m loosing, business, house etc. not sure where I will land and how I will afford to live. I’m right in the middle of the transition and it’s hard to be at ease. Been wondering if there is a cheap place in the world to live and maybe I could go live there. But then I have to be where all my medical specialists are. There are a lot of medical treatments I’m not going to afford to do anymore. I have been spending all my money on medical 20-50k a year to try to stop my diseases from progressing. Not sure how I can be calm at the moment. If I end up having a place to live I suppose I can reinvent my life and start having a more calm life. But I’m freaking out how I’m going to afford to live.
