His friendship with Trump was fucking earned though. I remember watching the UFC struggle in the 90s, my family gatherings always had 100 people plus, and we gathered just about every weekend even for the smallest sporting events, and everyone was convinced that the UFC wouldn't make it, we knew fighters personally and they thought it wasn't going to be a real thing so they were keeping their day jobs and still partying with us in Huntington Beach California, if you were with the UFC it was almost like you stepped in dog shit and not only being a literal dirty bastard being enough of a put off to be around, you fucking stank as well for the x2 effect of repulsing. Trump is the friend that told you to come over to his house and hosed your shoe off for you.

100%. That’s what I was expecting. I think they probably respect the fact that Dana is such a loyal guy. A lot of Trump’s friends bailed pretty fucking quickly when he ran as a Republican. It’s so gross. You may not like him but he’s definitely not Hitler. On policies, he’s much closer to Bill Clinton in the 90’s except more liberal on trade, war, and gay marriage. So toxic the way today’s Democrats attack anyone who disagrees with them on anything. These people labeled a black politician from Compton a “black white supremacist” and are now labeling RFK Jr as an anti-semite despite having the public support of chief rabbis in many major cities.

I was majoring in Political Science durung the time Trump was running and I had professors telling me Trump will be hated simply because he is not part of the political establishment and lifelong politicians who have been in D.C.

You can see a couple of times, Dana gets choked up for a second talking about what Trump has done for him.

Dana white really is a stand up guy, and very loyal, in this age where people betray you easily, I'm glad he still has Trump's back, what a guy.

I'd argue it's VERY important to have friends you do not agree with, it's so easy to live your life inside echo chambers. People nowadays are absolutes, it's either white or black. Nothing in between. It's healthier to be able to be friends with someone who has other ideas than you. It's more enriching too.
