Volk was the definition of going Super Saiyan with his performance yesterday. Dude put Zombie through the Matrix and then some. Aljo vs Yan was extremely close. I had Aljo and honestly, one could argue he had 2 10-8 rounds while he backpacked Yan, landed shots and kept working for Subs while rendering Yan's skills completely useless for 10 minutes. Very fair decision imo Edit : I think Burns vs Chimaev was a draw. Chimaev was def winning that last round until Gilbert rocked him near the end and landed the better shots. Activity vs Damage and it was very close. I want to see Khamzat vs Colby now. Don't think he's quite ready for Usman

Khamzat did look human but impressive ground game is amazing but he's not as technical but that will come with time. Burns is a beast that fight wasn't as one sided as alot of khamzat Stan's say. You don't just go out and knock someone out or ground and pound. Your strategy changes once countered that's a fight it's messy it rarely goes the way you want to. Lucky khamzat learned that in this fight he can't keep taking hits like that cause he did get dropped and he had to switch up. Anyone on any given night AT THAT LEVEL CAN BE TAKEN OUT BECAUSE THEY ALL ARE AT THE TOP OF THE GAME. I'm very interested to see how he does against Colby. But he can't go in with the same game he came in with this fight. Use your height and length and learn some head movement will work wonders for him.

Good analysis. I was telling everyone before this fight, Burns could win this one with a knockout. It wasn't going to be an easy fight. Khamzat is good, but he only had 4 fights in the UFC. There wasn't enough evidence. I just typed this list, and posted it on a Luke Thomas fight summary video, as I thought of all the times this has happened, where we build up a fighter to be "unbeatable." This is my list from memory. Once "unbeatable" prospects in the UFC who were on long winning streaks or undefeated: 1.) Johnny Walker. Maybe the most exciting prospect ever. First 3 fights, he was pegged to beat Jon Jones. 2.) Cain Valazquez. Went 13 or more fights undefeated before being viciously stopped by Santos in a one punch KO. 3.) Junior Dos Santos. Was supremely talented with crazy hand speed and big power. Cain outworked him and ruined him. 4.) Barao (Undefeated for about 23 fights) and was the "best fighter on Earth" before TJ beat him soundly, twice. 5.) Ronda Rousey. Unstoppable. Joe Rogan called her the best athlete in the last 100 years and cried when speaking to her. 6.) Edmen Shabazayan. Looked like he was going to be the best fighter in the UFC until Derrick Brunson ended his career. 7.) Justin Gaethje. Came into the UFC being an unstoppable, undefeated fighter. 8.) Brock Lesnar. Before Cain, he was considered to be unbeatable. 10.) Shane Carwin. Shane was scarier than any living Human at the time, and was undefeated while on his run in the UFC. 11.) Jon Jones. Lost badly to Reyes, and possibly Santos and Gustaffon. 12.) Israel Adesanya. Undefeated in the UFC. Unstoppable. Until fighting poorly against Yan Blachowicz. 13.) Francis Ngannou. It seemed impossible for anyone to beat him and he was pegged as unbeatable before Stipe part 1. 14.) Doo Hoo Choi. Had punching power of 12 mules. Lost soundly to Cub Swanson who outworked him everywhere. 15.) Conor McGregor. Before Diaz fights, was considered unbeatable, was too technical and punched too hard. 16.) Holly Holm. After her Ronda fight, she was the best female fighter, and undefeated in the UFC. Miesha ended her permanently. 17.) Ciryl Gane. Before his fight with Ngannou recently, he was considered to be the best heavyweight MMA fighter who has ever lived, and unbeatable. 18.) Darren Till. Talked more confidently than any fighter, even more confident and more charismatic than Khamzat. MMA media obsessed with him. Was badly exposed against a prime Tyron Woodley. -Ritalie

What a great night of fights !I agree 100% with you Dana White that Gilbert Burns vs. Khamzat was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen in the ufc . My personal opinion though khamzat straight up stud & lived up to the hype and then some, but I gave it to Gilbert by split decision it was super close no unanimous…I’m not a judge so that being said I disagree with there decisions alot but that’s just my opinion .would be nice to see a point system or a better way to score these fights.

As a long time UFC fan, I knew before this fight, Burns could win this one with a knockout. It wasn't going to be an easy fight. Khamzat is good, but he only had 4 fights in the UFC. There wasn't enough evidence to make Burns a +700 underdog.

Yeah he thinks it makes him look generous and he really looks like whimsical feudal jerkoff.

@@jimxvov9772 besides all of that, to see Khamzat walking up to Burns, totally not trying to defend any blows to the face was straight up stupid and amateurish. I love Khamzat, and was hoping he’d finish in the first, but to watch him unnecessarily eat all those shots was stupid. He really needs to work on his defense, because if someone like Usman hits him with the same cannon that laid out Masdival, he won’t be waking up a winner for sure.
