Khabib clearly has decent striking on top of his ground n' pound and his submissions, there's no comparison between him and Rousey except that they're the only two grapplers who casuals are familiar with. Conor's "versatility" consists of him having good stand-up, decent takedown defence and being able to fight off his back (provided his opponent is smaller than him). Conor is a striking specialist whose ground game is purely defensive, that's the opposite of being versatile.

Conor is the biggest embarrassment to the UFC . Earlier this year Conor committed an act of terrorism by loading up a plane with his entourage, Crossed borders, and attacked a bus causing multiple people to be hospitalized. Conor has committed countless classless acts to promote fight after fight and took things way too far when he targeted Khabibs Family, Religion, and ethnicity. I am a McGregor fan, but I put my money on Khabib. I have watched UFC the past 15 years.. If they take that from Khabib and he can no longer fight in the UFC I will NEVER watch UFC again. If anything this will only hype up the UFC brand even more, there is no such thing as bad publicity when it comes to events like this. Sure there's gonna be some legal aftermaths but at the end of the day this was the biggest publicity stunt UFC could've asked for. I can't even imagine the kind of money that would come from a rematch between these who guys. Or just the next match for either of them for that matter.

@Chiv, the only chance Conor had of winning this fight was the punchers chance, and even though Khabib stood toe to toe for much of the fight and was completely open to being punched Conor never hit him with any significant shot the whole fight.. not a mark on Khabibs face, whereas Khabib FLOORED Conor with a big right hand, and later went on to immobilise him and force him to submit "which he said he would do" McGregor had no business being in the octagon with this guy, he could not hand Khabibs strength and it was obvious.... as for MMA skills ,,Conor was completely outclassed also

Who’s fault is this ? Two people : 1. Conor Mcgregor 2. Dana White They could be tied for first.

How the sound from different mics can be recorded? is everything connected to a sound mixer?

How can Connor come back from this? He can't keep trash talking anymore as he can't back it up, he got absolutely humiliated in there by Khabib. My guess is this is the last we'll see of Connor in the UFC.

The UFC and Dana must accept some responsibility for this. They encourage this atmosphere at every weigh in, face off etc. Dana thrives on it, thats why he stands in between the fighters with that stupid look on his face. He lets McGregor say and do what he wants, including racial slurs. So they encourage this, and now its happened.

I am a McGregor fan, but what happened in the end of the fight was harvesting what McGregor and his team sowed: hatred. Very disappointed of Dana White on not having an unbaised view on this one. Both teams did wrong, not just Khabib's. I am looking forward to McGregor rectifying himself and taking his part of the responsibility on this, recognizing that he did wrong.

it was intentional provocation & bigotry. Dana White should have put an end to it long ago but since its apparently good for the ratings, its been allowed ...i would like to put Khabib & Connor in a ring without rules or gloves for 15 mins...let that big mouthed fool get messed up for real. Khabib will put him in the ICU or the graveyard.

all that Conor did before fight was also unprofessional which ignited this outcome. Had Dana controlled that unprofessionalism from Conor this would have not happened. Dana cant just wash off his hands. Its Dana and Conor who are more responsible for this situation than Khabib.
