@nomakeanykine Idk, man. I personally would only give Dustin the power advantage even in that fight. Max takes speed and technique, and imo he won at least 2 rounds. Also again imo I think if he had more power and pop to his shots like Dustin, at that time, he would have won.

@scottsterling4713
Ай бұрын
Most people thought Justin would win. Look at Justin’s resume and who he fought… the guy killed the boogeyman Tony Ferguson then went on to fight killers like khabib, oliveira, Dustin etc… max is a killer too but he fought at 145. Generally when two people have similar skill sets, the bigger guy wins. Also, if max didn’t pull a spinning back kick that broke Justin’s nose, it may have been a very different fight. You been to the dentist before? How hard is it just to breathe through your nose while they are cleaning your teeth. Now imagine only breathing through your mouth while a monster like max is punching you straight in the face. Yeah do that for 20 mins then get back to me.

He did against Lamas at UFC 199 , he did the same against Pettis at UFC 206 & he also did it against Volk just can’t remember which event … but he does that frequently just this time , it worked.

To answer the actual question, I think he might have liked the fight.
MH is that guy, can't wait to see his next fight. Dustin and Justin are my favorite fighters by far, so seeing how this fight played out. Need another Dustin vs Max. Let it ride

I love Max and being from the same island as him, you can say I’m a big fan. However Dustin vs Max is not a good fight for Max. Dustin is just to big and to strong compared to Max. It’s like David vs Goliath with Max being David. Only difference is Goliath being the winner in this match up.

@@masteh7964 I didn’t watch the full fight between MH vs JG, I only caught the highlights. However I’ve seen the MH vs DP fight which I believe Dustin and max fought each other twice but could be wrong!! Anyways DP smashed on Max in there last fight together…don’t get me wrong, max battled and held on until the end of the 5th round, unfortunately it was a one sided fight with Dustin being the more dominant fighter as far as speed, power, and technique.
@masteh7964
Ай бұрын
@nomakeanykine Idk, man. I personally would only give Dustin the power advantage even in that fight. Max takes speed and technique, and imo he won at least 2 rounds. Also again imo I think if he had more power and pop to his shots like Dustin, at that time, he would have won.
It is INSANE that some people thought Justin would run through Max!! The same guy that beat Aldo several times and went to wars with Volk and McGregor in his prime also willing to go to short notice war with Khabib which would have been AWESOME
@scottsterling4713

He said it perfect
That's crazy he said Arturo Gatti, because obviously he meant Gatti vs Ward fight, best 3 boxing fights of all time, even better than Thomas hearns vs Hagler or even Bert Cooper vs Evander Holyfield
Great fight by two of the very best in MMA. True warriors ❤
The Ward Gatti trilogy was my favourite of all. I’m a big supporter of Mike Tyson but, that’s totally different. That trilogy was EPIC!
Agreed. Awesome fight. Respect to both.
This fight was genuinely epic, Holloway was winning clear as day and just said fuck it let’s just go bananas and see what happens.
As a guy who trains and had amateur boxing matches ... Its not easy to have such mentality...wow...two beast .. huge fan of sport ...they are gladiators 💯 🔥
It's the best fight in years! Top 5 all time. Maybe top 3.
That will be one of the most memorable 10 seconds of UFC fighting ever put on display. What an ending.
Way better than grappling for the last 10 seconds

Yeah they are is my favorite fighter... Dustin, justin and Holloway... They beat each others but the fans love it them all... Because they always bring banger fight
Was unreal one the best moments in UFC history
This fight wasn’t as much of a barn burner as people are making it out to be. Max dominated 90% of that fight other than leg kicks and that 1 flash knockdown in round 4 Gaethje just didn’t have anything for Holloway at all. What made it insane was the sequence at the end leading to the finishing KO but we’re not going to sit here and act like that was a FOTY candidate.

The caption made me think Dana was going to compare their body odor 😅😂
Both of them are the UFC man. It's what we want to see. It's what we get from them Everytime
It's definetly fight of the year that exciting to see what Max does next and Gaethje will pick himself up and be back for another epic fight

Greatest ko off all time! In the last second ko 😮
Holloway started that 10 sec come let’s have at it in the middle of the ring from his previous fights! He is a stud.
Those eye pokes were amazing
Holliway always been a brawler ... great guy and great fighter ... 1 of the best for sure...
My only problem with it was it wasnt naturally occurring they were basically fighting for an emperor's approval and not for honor.
ABSOLUTLY!!!
Now those are what I call tough guys
So true
It was a crazy amazing fight but two clear eye pokes , Justin’s left eye was red af after that first poke And this last 10 sec is kinda bs. Why not max say it’s round 5 at the start and point to middle and go why the last 10 seconds? Kinda 🧀 in my opinion. If you wanna throw bombs start the round off in middle when you both fresh
So amazing! Legends!

I swear to god I’ve been lucky asf with my UFC viewing. I watched UFC 300 and saw that amazing fight but the last time I watched ufc was when Buckley had that insane spinning kick KO. Sure I missed stuff but when do tune in, holy fuckin fireworks
All it takes is one. Max Holloway risked losing the fight for an all out brawl. That mf is a true warrior. Gaethje is a fucking tank too. Fight was amazing.
True warrior's , he very proud of them and fair play
Gotta, brutal fighter!
He’s loving the product 🤑
Anyone who has watched Holloway would know this isn’t the 1st time he’s pointed to the mat towards the end of a fight. I’ve literally watched him do this at least 3 times before , only this time he got the KO as time ran out. I respect it but casuals would think it’s the 1st time he’s done that. He did against Lamas at UFC 199 , he did the same against Pettis at UFC 206 & he also did it against Volk just can’t remember which event … but he does that frequently just this time , it worked.
Proper good fight
