Often times the reason why someone picks up their hands, leans into their guiding and gives leg cues is because their horse isn’t responding to the guide.
One of the nicest things we can do is smoothly guide our horses through a pattern. One thing that can help make your ride more effortless is to teach your horse to respond to the signals you give with your hands that is soft and smooth.
It doesn’t matter the event that you ride in.
